    Author Notes:

    “You win. Isn’t this what you wanted?”

    I chuckled, shook my head, plastered on the smartass smirk I wore so well, and walked up to Aiden.  He wore a sly grin as well, but this one said, “Yeah, that’s right.  You come to me.”  He shoved his hands in his jeans pockets and waited.  When I reached him, I shoved him hard, but his smirk just widened.  I looked up at him, then trailed my hand down his chest as I lowered my body.  I ran it down his right side as I kneeled in front of him, my hand resting finally on his thigh.  I never broke eye contact and he held my stare.  I breathed in once, then again, and I felt her slide up behind me, her arm slipping around the left side of my waist.  I saw her face in my peripheral vision, but I never left Aiden’s eyes.  I spoke.

    “You win.  Isn’t this what you wanted?”

    Aiden’s mouth widened into a grin and he burst into laughter.

    “CUT!  Dammit, Aiden!  This is the third time!”  Kyla yelled from behind us; Ashley collapsed into her own set of giggles.

    “Ashley keeps making faces at me!” he protested, reaching down to help me up.  I pinched his thigh in frustration.  He winced and shot me a look.

    “We aren’t going to get another take in, you ass!  Everyone is downstairs and we are making Spencer and Ashley the Worst Hostesses of the Year because you can’t keep a straight face for three lines.”  Kyla threw his button-down shirt at him and he just shook his head, mumbling “sorry” under his breath.  I kicked Ashley with the toe of my sneaker, and she reached for my hand.  I pulled her up, laughter still coming from her.

    “I’m sorry, sis.  I just can’t help it.  This scene is just riddled with sexual tension and then Spence is supposed to take the hammer I’ve got tucked in my jeans and just whack the hell out of his knee?  It’s just ridiculously campy; I’m trying to lighten the mood.”  Ash covered her mouth to stifle another round of giggles as Kyla went into yet another rant about needing to get the scene done so she could get the film done so she could pass her Directing 220 class so she could get into the junior seminar next semester so she could blah blah blah.  I’d heard the speech enough times over the last three weeks, I could recite it better then some of my own dialogue.

    1. Yes! Definitely continue! And it’s gotta be a happy ending, right? Because I think a bit of Spashley fluff is kind of needed right now. But great job on the writing. Wouldn’t it be perfect if everyone could just get along like that? Haha…I guess only in the fanfic world.
