    Panic: Part 3. Read it. It’s worth it.

    “JESUS FUCKI—SLOW DOWN, ASH!” Aiden screamed over the blasting radio Ashley had insisted on turning on.

    Ashley swerved past a beat up white van and onto the highway before replying, “You didn’t have to come, Aiden.”

    He gaped at her incredulously as she cut of a yellow corvette and merged into the right lane, “Yeah, that would’ve been a great idea since you’re obviously going to get us both killed!”  

    “Goddamnit, COME ON!” Ashley yelled, ignoring him, “You can’t go twenty on a highway, asshole!”

     “He’s not going twenty! You’re going eighty!” Aiden countered as he fumbled with his seatbelt. Ashley took her exit before pulling off to the side of the road and cutting out the engine.

    “What are yo

    “Look, if you’re going to come with me there need to be some ground rules.” Ashley began seriously before turning to face him, “I am not a sane person right now, Aiden. As a matter of fact, I might be border line insane.”

    “Ash—“ Aiden started.

     “Okay, Aiden. Rule #1: I talk, you listen.”

    Aiden sighed and motioned for her to continue.

     “Spencer’s gone and so is Casey

    “So, you’re just going go out and find ‘em?” Aiden interjected flatly as he reclined in his seat.

     Ashley glared at him, her anger reaching new heights, “No-“

    “Then what are you going to do, Ash!? You can’t just speed on highways and run traffic lights playing superman! Shit, this isn’t a fucking game! What are you going do when you find her? Kick her ass? Kill her for what she’s putting you and Spencer through? Cause that could be setting you up for some serious jail time, and you know what, I don’t think you’d look so good in those orange jumpers they’d make you wear!”

     “I don’t know!”

     “Exactly, Ash, you don’t know! You’re not thinking rationally and I’m not saying I don’t get why, cause I do. Just take a—“

    “God, FUCK YOU, Aiden! You don’t ‘get why’! You don’t fucking understand any of this! Spencer is all that I have! No one fucking loves me! Do you get what that means? Like, can you just take a second to seriously fathom that concept? No. One. Loves. Me. Not my 20 cent whore of a mother, not my too-busy to care dad, NO ONE. Jesus, do you even know how long those two lasted together!? Three weeks, Aiden. Three fucking weeks and I’m all they have to show for it. God, my dad’s guitar player molested me for two years before he ever fucking did anything about it.” Ashley spat bitterly, “I am the adult offspring of the two most selfish people on this earth…at least L.A” Ashley looked up to meet Aiden’s gaze, “But I’m not like them. I’m nothing like there self-centered, pretentious, devoid of love, neglectful, emotionally abusing asses…When I gave Spence that ring I made a promise to her and I swear to god I’ll be dead before I ever break it.” Ashley finished menacingly.

    3. thanks guys! im just sorry i didnt post sooner. i seriously wrote like 3 posts for this chapter but none of them fitted…the writing was off and it just didnt make sense. im really glad you liked it! i think this one is my fav. -sarah
