“Awww, you’re so sweet.” She playfully held her hand. “So what do you want?”
“I’ll take a burger with some fries.”
“All right,” Bette leaned over the counter and kissed Helena. “I’ll be right back.” Helena looked around the café and took a deep breath. Kit was walking towards the counter when she saw Helena sitting there. She walked over to her and rested her hand on her shoulder. Helena turned around, and Kit smiled softly.
“Hey Helena.”
“Hi Kit,” Helena smiled.
“Are you looking for Bette?”
“I saw her already. So how are you?”
“I’m good, I’m hanging in there. How about you?”
“I’m great. I’m happy with my life right now.”
“Is it because of having Bette in your life?”
Helena nodded and looked at Kit. “Yeah.”
“I heard about you wanting her to move in with you.”
“Has she said anything else about it?” Helena wondered.
“No,” Kit shook her head. “She hasn’t said anything else to me.” Helena frowned, and Kit touched her shoulder. “Don’t get your hopes up, it’ll take her second, but I know that she’ll say yes. I know my sister. When she wants something real bad, she’ll take it. So don’t worry so much, you’ll get your answer soon.”
“Thanks Kit,” Kit winked at her and walked away. Bette walked back out and saw Kit walking away.
“What were you two talking about?”
“Nothing really, just school.” She smiled and nodded. “Where’s my food woman?”
“Hey–,” Bette chuckled softly. “Don’t get hostile, it’s coming.” Helena smiled and grabbed Bette’s hand and kissed it.

Shane and Carmen ran towards Carmen’s door as it began to down pour. Carmen unlocked the door, and they walked in. Shane looked around the house as she raked her fingers through her wet mane. Carmen locked the door and slipped out of her shoes. Shane looked over at Carmen and smiled.
“Your house is bigger than mine, what’s up with that?” Carmen smiled as she grabbed Shane’s hand.
“It’s because my uncle has money in the bank.” She showed Shane around the house.
“So where is your aunt and uncle?”
“He had some conference in Vancouver, so she tagged a long. They’re going to be there for a couple of days.”

awww, that was sweet. almost enough to make me want to be going throug all of that…but not really…lol…lovely writing, i like seeing how its changing with each story. keep up the great work:)
I know exactly what Alice is feeling…being with someone who still lives at home is the pits, really, but Dane should’ve told her about Harrison, though…I went to prom with a girl (and we both were so lovely in our dresses), so I didn’t have a problem…lol…Shane and Carmen son muy calientes, yummy (can you tell I’ve had spanish class today…lol)…Helena and Bette are cute as hell, as usual

Well, I suppose in real life, encountering bumpy roads is common. I just feel bad for D having a nazi of a mother and A dealing with closeted D. If it would take 30 more chapters to work things out, so be it. But please let them work it out. It is good to have a sister like Kit, so supportive. Wow, another sizzling hot encounter between S and C. Now why couldn’t A & D have the same privacy like S & C. It must be their karma. Akira, another great chapter. pps.

Aki, finally was able to get to a pc and loved your chapter. Loved how Helena gave sound advice to Al ,and then Shane and Carmen was claiente/hot. And last loved how Kit talked to Helena about Bette and the moving in, we shall see if it happen or not, Ih ope it does(wink).
ACB, THank you for your kind shout out. I am loving this tale. Good to see the gals giving Alice some advice. It is times like these when you need the wise words from a mate. It was good to see Dana and ALice talking and trying to sort out how they feel. Dana just needs some time to realize that being out is not as bad as she thinks it will be. Yes, people will talk at first but all too soon it will be yesterday’s news and another scandal will take people’s interest. I think her family are the biggest hurdle she faces. As for Shane and Carmen, too fucking cute… They just rock together. I loved the intimacy that you crafted between them. There is a genuine sense of love between them. Wonderful. More please.
