“But I mean she’s gigantuant. She’s like 8 feet taller than all of us, and not to mention she probably works out and is really strong.”

Tina giggled.

“Oh Spencer Bette is tall, and strong, but she has a heart of gold. She’s amazing.”

Tina looked affectionately at Bette, who looked affectionately back. Ashley put her hand up.

“Okay, you two have got to make it not so obvious. I mean mom could you at least fix your shirt.”

Spencer looked at Ashley confused. Spencer rolled her eyes.

“They obviously just got done fucking.”

“ASHLEY!”

“Mom honestly?! Are you two together or what? Because if not then I’m going to ask Spencer out!”

Spencer’s head whipped one more time and looked at Ashley and smiled this time. She couldn’t believe the most beautiful girl in the world was declaring the fact that she liked her. Ashley winked at Spencer. Tina saw the wink and smiled inside, but refused to let it go across her face because of the look on Bette’s face.

“What you’re not even a lesbian, or a bisexual for that fact.”

“I’m not?”

Ashley looked to her mother daringly.

“Are you?”

“I don’t know you tell me?”

Tina smiled. She couldn’t believe how much Sepncer was just like Bette. She could see that they argue a lot because they both had extremely head strong personalities, and Tina had never seen anyone handle Bette like Ashley just was. It was like a poke and retract on Bette’s part. She come with something, and Ashley would come back just as hard if not harder.

“You are such a Porter.”

Tina said to Ashley who just smiled proudly. Bette cocked her hips and put the other hand on the other one.

“And that’s supposed to mean?”

Tina smiled.

“Look at her Bette, she’s the best of you. She’s got your charm, your personality, your drive. She’s like the mini-Bette we’d always talked about.”

Bette cringed at the mention of their past in front of their lovestruck daughters.

“Tina not now please?!”

Bette pleaded. She hadn’t talked to Ashley about the baby, and she didn’t want to tell her about it like this. Tina smiled understandingly. Ashley looked at them annoyed.

“Well what is it going to be?”

Bette looked at Tina, Tina looked to Bette. They both smiled, but stopped looked to their daughters and dropped the bomb.

“We are going to try things again.”

They said in unison. Ashley jumped off the couch almost immediately and threw her hands in the air.

“AARRRRGG!”

She yelled and stormed to her bedroom. Bette began to follow, but Tina stood up and stopped her.

“Just let her be. Don’t push her. She’ll open up when she’s ready.”

“You talk like you’ve had personal experience?”

“Yah well, once you’ve dealt with one Porter, you can deal with them all.”

Bette smiled her Bette Porter Mega Watt. She leaned into Tina and kissed her. It was a lingering kiss. Soft, sensual, full of love. Spencer cleared her throat.

“Okay, it’s fantastic you two are together, or whatever you are; but I can’t handle seeing my mother kiss someone. Just too weird. I’ve only ever seen her kiss my daddy.”

“I’m sorry Spencer.”

Bette and Tina began to giggle. Spencer started to giggle. She start too feel warm inside seeing her mother so in love for the first time. She had a new found appreciation for Bette, but that didn’t make her any less afraid of her.
