    Xfiles/LWord Crossover: Agents of Change

Until she tried, hours later, to carry the biggest bag of potatoes she had ever purchased, up the clay steps of the village.

“Fucksakes…” She muttered, sweating and trembling with her efforts.  The men had tried to help her, had walked to their own homes, genuinely bothered at her chosen sufferings. Scully vowed to accept their help next time.

“May I take that for you?” a soft, somewhat deep, but definitely feminine, voice emerged from just behind her.  Scully turned slowly, wondering for a second why the hint of a New Zealand accent would be found in these parts.

But before she even saw her fully, Scully had already dropped her purchases and run furiously for her life.

The supersoldier left in her wake, stared sadly at her departing back.

    Los Angeles,

    Bette Porter’s Front Yard,

    9:15am

Back in Los Angeles, Monica Reyes sat in her car, on a rainy Tuesday morning.  She glanced at her watch.  Movement caught the corner of her eye.  She didn’t mean to stalk these women, she just felt it too early to show up unannounced.

Should she tell them her real name? Witness protection was one thing—her situation was something quite different.

Monica sighed.  If she told Bette and Helena—Tina for that matter—her story, she would put them all in danger.

    Beside her, her cell rang.

“Yeah.” She answered curtly, refusing the name of Agent and certainly the name her dumbass boss was calling her now. “Yeah, sure, I’ll be there sooner rather than later…I have some people I need to visit tonite…of course its related to the case…”  She rolled her eyes but stifled her laughter. Her ‘case’ consisted of an FBI investigation into a few forged cheques, a little old lady, and a very successful internet scheme. Helena Peabody and Bette Porter certainly had nothing at all to do with a 76 year old grandmother of ten who had managed to make millions on the backs of already rich idiots, willing to give out their banking information in exchange for ‘eternal youth’ in a bucket.

Monica slumped in her seat. What on earth was she doing here? What did she hope to achieve?

Of course she was interested in these two women.  She was also pretty certain that they were interested in her.  Either way, it would be up to them—they could just as easily tell her to shove off.  They were a couple, and she certainly wouldn’t disrespect that.

She opened her car, and when her heels clicked softly on the sidewalk, she took on the name given to her by her new (and hopefully temporary) masters.

And with that, Amelia walked quickly toward her future, and knocked on Bette Porter’s door.

    1. Jesus! Not only does this have the makings of a 3-way for a sex romp, it’s also a 3-way fusion of TV shows (cause you know Lucy will always live in our hearts as Xena)! I read this after a trip to the grocery so I could sympathize with Scully’s burden. No spuds in my bags however and I would have been more than happy to accept Ms. Lawless’s help with my bags. I guess deep voices don’t scare me as much as they do Scully for some reason.

    2. Oh yes, hb! Amelia and Bette…absolutely! Soon, I hope! Then all three, and then just with Bette again and then..Bette again..ok ok ok I will stop now, but you get my drift!

    3. YES YES YES!! …and what was that I said? Write it and they will read. HEE HEE. I think grabbing hold of DarkHawk to add a thing or two would be a fabulous idea! I can ONLY imagine with you two. Thanks for getting this together so quick! You shocked me girl. I am emailing my friend now to let her know it is HOT OFF THE PRESS!!!!! : -))) “And with that, Amelia walked quickly toward her future, and knocked on Bette Porter’s door.” YOU END IT THERE???
