Chapter 11

Once they got back to the hotel, Peggy assured Tina that she would keep her posted on any information her private investigators find on Jodi.  “We will find her Tina and she will not be allowed to hurt either of you ever again.”

“What are you going to do to her Peggy?”  The look that crossed Peggy’s face made Tina shiver.

“Tina don’t you worry about that.  Let’s just suffice to say Ms. Lerner has made a big mistake and I am just the person to bring it to her attention.  She doesn’t know who she is dealing with but she soon will.  Trust me.”  With that Peggy said goodnight.

Tina and Bette went to their room.  Once inside, Tina suggested that they take a shower and lay down together.  Bette asked Tina to take a bath with her instead. 

“Bette, are you sure?  You have just gotten your memory back and found out that you have been raped by Jodi.  Are you sure you want to take a bath with me?”  Tina asked with concern.

“You don’t want to be with me?  Now that you know Jodi has raped me, you don’t want to touch me?”  Bette asked louder than she meant to but also with tears coming to her eyes.

Tina quickly embraced Bette.  “No Bette!  No, that is not it.  I have wanted to touch you and make love to you from the moment I found out you were alive.  I was just afraid you might not want me to touch you.  That you might not want to be intimate just yet, they say that rape victims often have trouble being intimate so soon after.”

“Well I must not be the typical victim because all I want to do right now is make love to you.  I want to erase all those memories of the rape and the only way I see that happening is by making sweet love to you.  Please make love to me T.  Please help me replace those memories with fresh loving memories of us.”  Bette almost pleaded with Tina.

Tina just smiled and said “why don’t you get us some wine and take off your clothes while I get the bath water ready.”
