Chapter 10
As Dr. Roberts left the room, she was immediately approached by Peggy and Helena. “How is she?” Peggy asked full of concern.
“She is awake and I believe she remembers everything now. I left her in Tina’s arms crying. I will give Tina some light sleeping pills in case she needs them to sleep tonight. This is a lot for her to take in and I don’t think it will fully hit her for several days.” Dr. Roberts showed them back to her office. She would go back and check on Bette and Tina in a little bit. But, they didn’t need to be having this conversation in the open.
When they got back to her office, Dr. Roberts closed her door and looked with concern at Peggy. “What are you going to do now?” Dr. Roberts was smart enough to know that this woman had power and that she loved Bette dearly. She knew Peggy would never let this go until this Jodi was made to pay.
Peggy smiled at the good doctor but her smile didn’t reach her eyes. “I know how to handle women like Ms. Lerner. But, I will not get you involved with this Dr. Roberts. The authorities here in Peru will also not be involved because that red tape would take much too long. I have my people searching for her as we speak. So, let’s not worry ourselves with Ms. Lerner. Our immediate concern should be Bette and Tina. How do you think Bette is going to handle this?”
Dr. Roberts thought for a moment. “I think she will look to Tina for support and I get the impression that those two can make it through any rough water ahead.”
Helena smiled and said “oh yea. Those two can make it through anything as long as they are together. They will also have the support of their friends and family.”
At that moment Peggy’s phone rang and she excused herself. Dr. Roberts decided to go back and check on Bette and Tina.
Tina held onto Bette for what seemed like hours. Her mind was racing thinking about what Bette had gone through. No wonder she had lost her memory. It was just too painful to remember. Where did that leave them now? Would Bette turn inside herself and not allow Tina to help her?

Yes Jodi will make us react lol and everyone else who want top harm our golden couple their family and friends. Get Jodi Peggy, make an example of her for anybody else who’s got these kind of ideas.
