    Chapter 14 Part Deux (2nd of 3 parts). Sex is the name of the game – go box out for boards and see who you’ll end up in bed with. They call the shots, they rebound the misses. Assumptions, Frustrations, Longing, Anger, Pride, Decisions, Mistakes…

     

    “Helena…” Tina wasn’t startled at all. “Bette? She stood me up. She had never done anything close to this because of a single girl before. I’ve been calling her for the past hour and I couldn’t reach her. I could understand if it’s another school event or something. She said she’d come.”

     

    “Wait…” Helena slowly sank in the chair beside Tina, wincing when she sat down. “Do you know where she is…? Maybe she’s just late. You know how she is when there’s something up. It’s senior year, she’s busy enough as it is.”

     

    “I have no idea where she’s tutoring Nicole… It’s fairly noticeable what Nicole wants from her. Bette kept saying I was being ridiculous about it.”

     

    “Nicole…” Helena shook her head. “Bette didn’t tell you?” She shifted her weight to the right side. “Oh, fuck…”

     

    “Are you all right? You look like you’re hurt…” Tina asked, concerned with her friend.

     

    “I’m fine… Thanks. I just banged my knee and jammed a toe on my way here. Clumsy huh? It’s nothing…” Helena lied. She didn’t want to talk to Tina about the embarrassing threesome with Jenny and Moira earlier. It was just the drug acting. Then she wondered about Jenny who she accidentally kneed after the incident with her clitoris. “Anyway… My driver’s on his way here. He’s gonna pick me up. You wanna come with me…? Looks like there’s nothing happening around here.”

     

    Tina thought about the idea for a few ticks and agreed. “I’ll just leave Bette a message then.”

     

    The Peabodies’ Residence

     

    “Make yourself at home… I’m just gonna change, okay?”

     

    “I have forgotten how nice the view you’ve got here…” Tina was admiring the breathtaking scenery from behind the glass windows of Helena’s home. Bette and Nicole moved from first place to the tenth in her mind, and all she wanted to do was relax herself. After all, it was the weekend and it was supposed to be spent merrymaking. But then, seeing the wonderful artworks around the house reminded Tina of her girlfriend who would have loved to gaze at Peggy Peabody’s collection all day.

     

    “Is there anything I can get for you, Tina?” Helena asked before she could change clothes.

    1. Thanks for the update. I have to admit that I only read the Sharmen parts but I like them a lot. Not the one where Carmen cheats on Shane, but I’m looking forward to see what happens next.

    3. i love the sharmen part, and actually surprised that carmen cheated on shane, since she’s obvious not into papi and papi should knew that. PPS!!**I love the song “in the sun”, and yeah, everytime i hear this i feel sad :(

    4. read this all tonight, I gotta say you got me hooked. I planned on turning in early tonight, might a couple of hours has passed and it’s almost two am in here. I’m disappointed that Dana’s gone too. I’m loving the Lara-Dana-Alice-Tasha stuff. The Tina and Bette part is a bit sad, over all, I like it.
