As many times as I had made it to New York over the years, I had never been able to work going to his restaurant there into my schedule. Bette and I had not gone to New York at the same time and then the relationship went downhill so many years passed. I always told myself that given the chance, I wanted to experience the restaurant and had mentioned it to her on numerous occasions. I can’t believe not only did she remember but she brought it to fruition. I was so in love with her that I was almost willing to skip dinner, grab a room and attack her. Almost…I really wanted to try the food but I did show her a bit of my appreciation by pulling her into one of the most passionate kisses I could muster. Bette’s disdain for public displays of affection must have been a thing of the past because with no hesitation, she reciprocated. Her willingness to not only show me privately how she felt yet also in public made me always feel more secure in our relationship. We were taken to our table and both men and women were checking her out. I felt jealousy starting to build and took her hand. She interlocked her fingers with mine, smiled her Porter smile and I settled down immediately. She was with unequivocally with me as I with her. We arrived at our table and the ambience of the restaurant was exquisite. Its décor was beautiful and the arrangements of the tables allowed for group interaction or romantic interludes between couples.
We ordered our meals along with a bottle of Portuguese wine that we had discovered years ago. That night was magical. Bette and I had gone out for what was to be dinner and dancing. We discovered the wine after having a couple of drinks in the bar before dinner and by the end of the meal, both of us were tipsy. We decided to skip dancing and take a cab back to my place and I would take her to get her car the following morning. We had only recently consummated our relationship so we were very much in the honeymoon phase. When we were settled in the cab, I found myself leaning into her and heard her moan. I took that in my less than sober state to mean that she was turned on…I know I was. I wasted no time undoing her button on her pants and putting my hand down them. She was incredibly wet. I had all but forgotten that we were in cab and had an audience. I wanted her so badly and although she protested slightly, she did nothing more to discourage me. Before we knew it, her hands were also under my dress and we were rocking to our own rhythm. We both had incredible orgasms as we pulled into my apartment complex and I quickly got out leaving her to take care of the fare. When she got to my apartment, we both burst out laughing at the absurdity of what we had just done and carried it into the bedroom well into the night. Later that week, we found a store that carried the wine and stocked up on it. We had many more fun evenings as time passed with that wine and those memories.

I’ll just take Tina Bette can keep the ring, Love how the love they have for each other just keeps getting bigger and better. If Tina had given her a billion dollars.she would be happy,now she has her “T” and Angie under one roof. thanks

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh! ABSOLUTELY, UTTERLY, FREAKIN’ LOVELY! I haven’t stopped squealing yet…and I’m misty eyed… I thought you’ve set the bar high with the last chapter. But this one has even topped part one. Like Bette, I got weak in the knees and totally floored by Tina’s proposal. GOD, I HEART THESE TWO TO BITS AND I HEART THIS STORY TO PIECES… Thaaaaaaank you, thaaaaaaank you, newagegirl! Let me give you a big, *cyberhug*. You’ve made this hopeless romantic absolutely, utterly, freakin’ happy today! :D
A couple of things I forgot to mention… I’m glad the cab driver in the Portuguese wine flashback didn’t get distracted by the rockin’ backseat show that Bette & Tina put up. And Gina and the pilot must have had sheepish smiles plastered on their faces when the loved up couple disembarked. Btw, that’s a unique, fiery, loud but quite brief entry into the Mile High Club logbook. Geez, they were literally on cloud 9. Lastly, Bette humming along to Celine Dion sappy ballads totally cracked me up. Nothing short of ridiculous!!! *Cyber bear hug part 2* THANK YOU, newagegirl!!! :)

I always though tina should ask bette, since bette asked the first time and tina didn’t want to give in… but this is amazing!!! i think just moving back in without the proposal knocked bette off her feet!!!hats off to alice for pulling this off without blabbing it,lol!!! like the song says “oh what a night…. :)
Newagegirl, so sorry I’ve not been able to read this week until this morning. Work, eewww!, it always gets in the way of things you want to do. Anyway, just finished reading the chapter for this week and loved them. The way you write these two and their love for each other is so beautiful as are they. Happy that Tina made the move back home I know they will continue to have a happy and loving home for themselves and Angie. I would have given anything to be able to see Celine in concert. That was a fantastic thing for Bette to do for her. Keep them happy,and loving each other and Angel. PPS

Wow, Newy! I’m so glad I checked before turning in. I’m speechless. OK, I’m not. This just keeps getting better. I love the humor you are also incorporating – I had to LOL at Tina’s passion for Bette coming in 2nd to her desire for Booby Flay’s dinner. Shoney’s! I had to Google that, having lived in SoCal for all my years in the US, but coming from Alice I knew it had to be funny & yes – LOL! As for the rest of the evening – I don’t know how you can top this, but have no doubt you will. A perfect evening to give them strength…and now…I feel the dramatic counterpoint coming on…Thank you – I’m so enjoying this!
