    Window of Opportunity ch.25

“Well then, in theory, you have a director. They have you booked in the same hotel I’m in so why don’t we hook up later and work out the details. I have to get back on set…we finish here in two days and then I’m free. Can we all meet for dinner tonight and see about getting some language together for the contract?”

“Dinner would be great. I’ll leave my cell phone number with your assistant and you can just call when you wrap things up.”

“Sounds good. Go see some of the sites that San Fran has to offer or even come watch me do my stuff. We’ll hammer everything out tonight and hopefully end up with a product that is worthy of both our names being attached to it.”

We walked back towards the direction we had come from talking like old friends and Tom and Shana were still standing where we had left them. Tom was nonchalant but Shana looked pissed. Chris and I shook hands and he pointed me toward his assistant as he walked off. I went over to her, left my number and walked back to Shana and Tom.

“He’s in,” was all I said as I walked back to the car. I could barely contain my excitement. I stood outside the car and waited for them to approach me.

“Did you say he was in?” asked Tom.

“Yep. We are all meeting for dinner to go over the details and I will get with legal to draw up the contract. Unless something huge happens between now and dinner, he has agreed to do the film.”

Tom pulled me into his arms grinning wildly. “Tina, what on earth did you say to him?” he asked as he let me go.

“Not too much really. We chatted a bit. He has read the script, watched what we already have on film and he is agreeable to help us to try to get out of this mess. Hopefully, he can produce some magic since we’re going to need it. I need to make some calls. Chris suggested watching him work or taking in some sites so whatever you decide is fine. I’m going to head to the hotel to get legal cracking on some contracts. The moment we come to an agreement, we need him legally obligated to us.”

    2. I do love this story so very much. If you posted every day it would not be too much for me. I know we have to wait for a couple days but I wish we didn’t. Would love to know what the other two envelopes hold. Hope they are all lighthearted. The steps they are taking now are just right for them at this point. I feel thatTina will ramp thisgs up a bit when she gets back. PPS

    3. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. Hopefully Shana will back off now. She had to have seen the sparks flying off of the pair as their mouths dueled.
