“Hello TinaBette,” he said.
Tina looked up slowly and Bette could see that she had an amused look on her face as she came to recognise Henry.
“Oh Hi Henry” Tina began, “how are you? I wouldn’t have expected to see you in here.” She ended.
Bette felt Tina’s right hand slowly massage the back of her head, and action that always caused Bette to completely relax.
“I’m fine Tina, I come in here a lot, as they serve great coffee. How’s Angie?” Bette winced a little by the shortened use of her daughter’s name and Tina felt it immediately, causing her to turn her massage into a caress.
Bette wondered how much longer it would take before Tina told Henry to ***** off.
“She’s much betteras are her two mommies,” Tina said turning to look at Bette before leaning in for another kiss. It was supposed to be a polite peck, but as usual ended up becoming something more before Tina broke it again.
When they briefly looked at each other they both had hooded eyelids of desire, and Tina was flushed. She sighed loudly before turning back to Henry.
“Umwhat were we saying? Oh yeahAngelica’s fineshe’s in the back with the owner of the caf actuallyher auntBette’s sister.”
A number of emotions were running through Henry’s mind at the moment and he was at a loss as to which one’s he should deal with first. When he had first seen Tina at the back of the caf he had been pleased and excited as he had initially thought that she was on her own and that he would have been able to speak to her, since lately she seemed to be refusing to take his calls. But his stomach dropped when he saw someone reach out and take her hand. When he followed that hand he saw that it was the stunningly beautiful woman that he had met at the hospital, Bette.
Then he saw how cosy they were together, oblivious to the world around them, and for an instant he was about to turn away, but then his ego got to him and he marched right over.
Tina had looked at him as though he did not exist and his feelings had been hurt. After all he wasn’t a bad guy, and she did come on to him first.
But it suddenly became too much when he saw the way that the two of them interacted with each other and the kiss that Tina landed on Bette’s lips was nothing like the kiss he had shared with her. And now to find out that his new favourite caf actually belonged to Bette’s sisterwell he was beginning to regret coming over to say hello.
“Oh, he said, and then as if struck with an after thought said, ” Hank really misses Angie.”
Tina gave Henry that amused look again, and Bette felt like she was having a bit of dj vuHenryHelenaHenryHelena.
‘Christ, even their names begin with the same initials!’ Bette thought to herself.
Tina’s voice snapped Bette out of her musings.
“Ah I’m sorry to hear that Henry.” Tina replied making no attempt to offer any play dates. Henry finally relented and decided to give up once and for all. He looked down at his feet then back to Tina before speaking.
“It was nice meeting youboth, but I must be going now.” He said at last. Bette mentally sighed in relief, and Tina just smiled.
“Okay thenbye.” Tina refocused back on the woman in her arms and nothing more was said about Henry.
And that was how Bette knew that Tina wasn’t interested in anyone else anymore.

I like to see Henry doing like this ’cause it means that Helena might be kicked out too…It is great to see the love but also the passion that seemed to lack between Bette and Tina. Where is it going ? Post soon !

Yes, of course I’m still reading and yes, I know not to trust you. You must have something up your sleeve or have you turned into a mush queen before our eyes? Whatever the reason, I’m enjoying your Bette and Tina growing closer and taking care of one another. After all isn’t that what love is all about? Hmmm, well some NC17 would be in order right about now. Come on Crush, its hard but I know you’re up to it!

Why does that damned pride always have to get in the way? If Henry had just walked out when he saw how cosy they were together, oblivious to the world around them,then his ego wouldnt have had time to get to him. He bought this last one on himself.
Now that he knows his new favourite café actually belonged to Bette’s sister may keep him from coming back there ever again…..so much for “great coffee!”
Sometimes men can be so full of themselves! Well, I’m glad that Tina made her intentions loud and clear. Love when B/T are loving and affectionate. Great story.
