    Author Notes:

    Helena and Bette enjoy their time together.

     

    “I love you too,” Bette smiled and held Helena tight. They pulled away and looked into each other eyes.

                Bette dug her feet into the sand and looked up at the setting sun. She lay on her head on her knees, and Helena sat behind her.

     

    “C’mere,” Bette sighed softly and lay against Helena’s body. Helena wrapped her arms around Bette and kissed her forehead.  

     

    “This is so beautiful out here. I would love to sit here every night and watch the sun set.” Bette smiled. “It’s peaceful and calm. Just the sound of the waves is the music.”

     

    Bette closed her eyes and opened them. “Were you ever happy?”

     

    “What do you mean?”

     

    “Were you ever happy with your life?”

     

    Helena sighed and took a deep breath. “I never was happy with my life and how it was going. There were days when I thought that my life was going well, but I was lying to myself. Everything went down hill, but I’m trying to get myself back on my feet.” Helena looked out to the ocean and looked at Bette. “What about you? Were you happy?”

     

    Bette smiled softly. “I was in moment in my life. I was starting to have my family with Tina, but when she had the miscarriage, that’s when my life spiraled out of control. I had the affair, and I lost Tina.  I fought what was mine, and when I got her back, I wasn’t happy. I was happy that I had my little girl Angel, but we were falling apart.” Bette shook her head. “I’m sorry if I’m irritating you with this.”

     

    “No, it’s fine,” Helena grabbed Bette’s hand. “There are time when you have something on your chest, and you need to let it go.”  

     

    Bette licked her lips and sighed. “But my life is becoming happy once again.” She kissed Helena’s hand. She cuddled closer to Helena and closed her eyes. “I can stay like this forever.” Helena wrapped her arms around Bette and kissed her cheeks.

     

    “I love you, and I’ll always be there for you.” Bette smiled as she closed her eyes as the breeze hit her face.

     

    “I love you too.” Bette leaned back and caressed Helena’s cheek. Helena leaned down and kissed Bette softly.

    4. Be real careful. we have a lot of writer that love Vegas. You might see a lot of them there. Like this Tina is being so hateful and she has really push Bette into Helena arms,and in love and happy again. thanks
