    Author Notes:

    Alex’s heart rate goes flat! Shane and Carmen become hysterical, until Shane sees the unexpected.

     

    Shane: Give me ten more minutes, then I promise I will go for a walk or something.

     

    Carmen smiled at her.

     

    Carmen: Well, in that case.

     

    Shane took a seat, and Carmen sat on her lap, pulling her into a kiss. Shane smiled for the first time since the accident.

     

    Shane: The second the three of us get home, you and me baby are gonna have the night of our lives!

     

    Carmen smiled and Shane took Alex’s hand.

     

    Carmen: Umm, I’m getting kind of thirsty, you want anything?

     

    Shane: A beer?

     

    Carmen: Alright then, a coke it is.

     

    Shane laughed as she slapped the Latina’s ass as she bounced out of the room. Shane then looked back over at Alex.

     

    Shane: God I love that woman! When things can’t get any worse, there she is making me smile.

     

    Shane snickered. In her mind, she was talking to Dana, this entire week she’s been talking to her. She then noticed that Alex’s chest was no longer rising. All of a sudden, everything started to beep. She was on her feet and to Alex’s hand in no time, as doctors rushed in.

     

    Shane: ALEX? ALEX!!!

    They tried to pull her off the girl, but she clung to the bed. Tears were streaming down her eyes. They pulled out the diffibulator and Shane was crying hysterically. Carmen,w ho had heard the monitors was now there as well. She was right next to Shane. The doctors tried once, twice. Then, something Shane can’t explain happened, she looked up. What she saw, made her knees go weak and her palms go sweaty as her mouth got dry. There she was, Dana Fairbanks, right over Alex. She looked at Shane and smiled. Shane mouthed to her “PLEASE!” Dana just smiled as Shane’s eyes swelled up again. Then, she was gone. Just as fast as she appeared. The doctors started to pack up as Carmen grabbed Shane for dear life.

     

    Shane: Can you Please try one more time.

     

    The doctor gave her a look like “Lady you gotta be kidding me”. Shane looked at him with puppy eyes.

     

    Shane: Please!

    The doctor pulled the equipment back out.

    2. i nearly had a heart attack geez i was like THE END!?!??! WHAT the ….. i was getting really mad and im like geez so unless you wanna see me in a hospital dont say the end unless u make a realy great ending for the story YOU HEAR ME????…LOL but im serious
