Alice: Dane, I don’t want to move out.

Dana: You don’t?

Dana couldn’t hide the excitement, as much as she tried.

Alice: No. I want to stay here, with you.

Dana: What made you change your mind?

Alice: I don’t know. Tonight, I guess, made me realise I don’t want to wait around. If I move out, I don’t know, it might feel like a step back. I mean, we can still take things slow, even if I stay here. I just don’t want to leave.

Dana: I don’t want you to leave. This has been the best night of my life so far, and I don’t think much could top it.

Alice: Mine too. So, can I stay?

Dana: Don’t be daft, of course you can. I love you so much, Alice.

Alice: I love you too. Come here.

Alice held her arms open and Dana welcomed the embrace. Alice wrapped her arms around Dana’s neck and Danas wrapped around Alice’s waist. They breathed in the scent of one another, until Alice pulled back slightly, their lips inches apart. Alice looked into Danas eyes and rested one hand on the back of Dana’s neck, while the other caressed her cheek. Dana smiled and leaned into Alice’s touch, until she felt herself being pulled forward. She looked at Alice, and Alice nodded, letting her know she wanted this. Dana smiled once more, before placing her hand on the back of Alice’s neck, and met her halfway in a kiss. It started off slow, until Alice opened her mouth slightly and began caressing Dana’s bottom lip with her tongue. Dana couldn’t hold back any longer, she opened her mouth and her tongue entered Alice’s mouth, their tongues meeting softly. Alice moaned slightly, causing Dana to release a soft moan. They kissed for a few moments longer, before Alice pulled away, both knowing if they carried on, the whole ‘taking it slow’ would be thrown out the window. They stared deep into each other’s eyes, their breathing slightly heavy, and their arms still wrapped around each other. Dana reached up and cupped Alice’s face.

Alice: Wow…

Dana: Yeah…

Alice: That was…

Dana: Yeah…

Alice: Wow…

They laughed at each other’s speechlessness. Dana wondered how on earth she had ever thought anyone could compare to her love for Alice. They were both slightly turned on, but they did want to wait. It had been a special night, and right now, all they wanted was to fall asleep in each other’s arms. Dana scooped Alice up in her arms and took her to the bedroom. It had become like a routine for Dana to carry Alice to bed. She didn’t need to anymore, but she loved having Alice cling on to her. She placed Alice on the bed and they got undressed. She passed Alice her tank top and shorts and they changed. They went to the bathroom and brushed their teeth, before getting into bed. Dana placed Alice in the bed and climbed in at the side of her. She immediately wrapped her arms around Alice, who was laid on her side, with Dana now spooning her. It was the first time they had lain like this, and it felt so natural to them both. Dana kissed Alice’s neck and began the comforting movements on Alice’s stomach. Within minutes, Alice was out like a light. Once Dana could hear Alice snoring lightly, she fell to sleep too. This was the best day of their lives so far, and they both began dreaming of what they hoped was to come.
