The Triangle of Love – Chapter 10
Alice: Hey guys.
Shane: How are you feeling?
Alice: Better than before. I’m glad you’re here.
While Shane and Alice were talking, Dana had caught a glimpse of the TV just inched from Alice’s face.
Tennis.
Dana: Hey, Alice.
Alice: Hi, how are you?
Dana: Not bad. You’re watching tennis?
Alice: Yeah.
Shane: Who’s playing?
Alice: Well, I was watching Dana play Johanna Konta to try to remember her as my best friend.
Shane: Did you remember anything?
Alice: Not really.
Dana face soon dropped as she heard Alice. She excused herself to use the bathroom, Shane knowing she was about to cry. Shane decided to leave Dana for now, and try to talk to Alice. As soon as Dana was out of sight, Shane spoke.
Shane: Alice, do you remember anything about Dana?
Alice: I remember everything.
Shane: Do you know how much this is hurting her? You need to tell her.
Alice: I can’t do that.
Shane: Why not?
Alice: She told me she loves me. That can’t be true. No one loves me like that, not even her.
Shane: Why would she say it if she didn’t mean it? Yes, she’s not experienced but I’m sure she knows how she feels. You have to at least tell her you remember her, she thinks she’s lost you.
Just as Alice was about to reply, Dana walked back into the room. She sensed the pause in conversation and gave Shane a questioning look. Shane just looked away and decided to leave the two alone. She took Dana out of the room to explain that she would be back in an hour. Shane left and left Dana stood in the corridor, suddenly feeling awkward about being with someone who thought she was a stranger. She wearily walked back into the room and sat back down in her chair. Alice had turned the TV off and was trying to sit up, causing pain both in her legs and her ribs. Dana watched Alice struggle, until she no longer could. She helped Alice up in her bed to make sure she was a little bit comfier. Just as Dana was sitting back down on her chair, their eyes met. They held the stare for what seemed like forever, before Alice looked away. Alice had decided it was now or never. She had to tell Dana she remembered her. She could see the pain in her eyes, and as much as she hated the way Dana had told her she loved her, she couldn’t help feeling sorry for her. After all, she was in love with her, why waste the only chance she may have? She looked over to Dana, who was now staring at the ground. When Alice said her name, she continued to stare at the floor.

That Alice, very sneaky, she deceived me with her pretended amnesia; now we’ll see what would happen with her legs; nice chapter; thanks, pps.
