Marina: Enough of what…and what’s with the look?

Before Marina can even react, Shane grabs her by the collar and slams her against the wall.  Shane keeps a firm grip as she brings her face to Marina’s.

Shane: I’m gonna make this short and sweet so you can understand…  You come back to fucking hurt her again…I’ll fucking kill you.  You got that?

Marina and Shane had known each other for some time up until Marina’s departure and this is a side that Marina can’t recall seeing before.  For once, she’s concerned about that.

Marina: I’m not here to hurt anyone…

By then, Alice, Lara, Bette and Tina have already made it down to the hallway as well.  Max however stays at the table, too confused about what all is happening.

Marina: …I’m just here to get my life back.

Tina: Shane…honey, don’t do anything rash….

Alice: Listen to Tina, Shane.  This isn’t gonna help.

Shane ignores her friends for the moment.

Shane: So you think you’ve had it fucked up?  Newsflash, Marina.  We ALL have!  Every single one of us have had to deal with some fucked up thing or another.  Don’t think you’re the only one with fucking issues.

Jenny finally reaches out to Shane.

Jenny: Don’t kill her…

Shane turns back towards Jenny, but still holds onto Marina who isn’t moving.

Shane: What do you want me to do?

Jenny: Let her go…please.

Alice, Lara and Tina all walk up to Shane and help her back away from Marina.  Shane finally lets go of Marina.  Marina looks down and to the side.

Marina: Perhaps I should just go for the evening.

Jenny: …No.  You’re here now.  We’re going to go into the living room.  We’re going to sit down.  And you’re going to tell us everything.  What happened, why you left, why you’re here now…everything.  Because if you leave now, then it better be on a plane back to Europe.

Marina: I’m not leaving…

There’s a high level of tension at Jenny’s house, while The Planet has something closer to good cheer.  Many of the patrons figure it’s going to be a fun evening, because everyone’s favorite resident party animal, Dax is there to have a good time.  Dax is totally removed from her appearance earlier in the day.  It’s almost a full transformation between the Dax that works at the body shop and the Dax that dances at the clubs and occassionally seduces other ladies to a tryst. Dax dances to the music supplied by Kit who’s DJ’ing.  Others join in the fun as well while others partake in the food and beverages there.  One such patron this evening is there in her leather jacket and not looking too conversational.  Her name’s Lacey and all she’s interested in is seeing how many beers her body will allow her to take.  Elsewhere at The Planet, Helena arrives and meets up with Leigh.
