The drive is pretty direct and Mark makes sure not to make any mistakes along the way.  He pulls into the parking lot of the apartment complex and finds a spot.  He storms out of the vehicle and makes a b-line for Gomey’s.  Just like Gomey, he didn’t bother to close the door to his apartment all the way.  Mark figures Gomey must’ve been really hyped up about watching the tape.  Gomey’s about to place the tape into his player as he sees Mark standing at the door.

Mark: …The tape.

Gomey’s still holding the tape in his hand.  He shows it off like a trophy.

Gomey: Oh, what’s the matter Mark?  Upset that someone’s actually willing to make something useful with this?  Think about it!  The most famous dyke athlete of the 21st Century, caught fucking some bitch on tape at a friend’s house!!!  And she ain’t exactly alive to stop it, either!  And if you ain’t gonna do anything with it, then I am!!

Mark: …I don’t think so, motherfucker.

Gomey places the tape on top of the player and then stands in the middle of the living room.

Gomey: Alright, fine man.  You want it…try to get it.  We’re gonna settle this like men.  You do remember what it’s like to actually be one don’t you?

Mark: Funny.

Gomey: You know, I never thought it’d come to this….but I guess I’ll have to teach you a lesson and beat you like the little bitch you are.

Mark stands across from Gomey, his fists clinched.

Mark: Winner takes the tape.

Gomey: Deal.

Mark: Bring it on…

Mark and Gomey, they were friends.  Now they’re rivals with the dignity of a fallen friend of a friend at stake.  Back at the house where the incident on the tape in question took place there’s a different type of struggle beginning to develop.  However this one involves the sanity of Jenny Schecter.  Jenny sits at the table with everyone else, still unsure what to say or how to react to Marina being there.  Helena’s already ducked out for the evening, headed for The Planet.  Max, Shane, Alice, Lara, Bette and Tina however are still there with Marina and Jenny.
