    From NY to LA

    The Long and Winding Road

    Tina managed to get through her morning without missing Bette too much. Danny had a great time in the office — everyone who came by told him he was gorgeous. And he was fascinated by his new surroundings – Tina sat him on her knee while she looked at her emails during her teabreak.

     

     

     

    At lunchtime Tina took him for a walk in the park which tired him out so he slept most of the afternoon. He was beginning to stir when Helena came in –she had been at a meeting of the Peabody Foundation

     

     

     

    “Darling — what a morning – I swear there are more sharks working for charitable organisations than work in the movie business – how is my nephew ?”

     

     

    “He is having a ball – the office pin up boy “

     

     

     

     

    “If we were making ad’s your son would soon be richer than his two mother’s. He has Bette’s incredible facial structure – he is going to be a very handsome man “

     

     

    “I think that too — but I am beyond biased when it comes to my son “

     

     

     

    Helena lifted him out of his bouncer and he grabbed her hair – she sat on the sofa with him.

     

    “Are you okay ?”

     

     

    Tina nodded “Its insane but I keep thinking once she gets out there in NY looking as sexy as she does then I am going to lose her “

     

     

    “Bette loves you Tina “

    “She loved me before and that didn’t stop her cheating on me “

     

    “And she really would put your relationship at risk for some twinkie who comes

     

     

     

     

     

    onto her ? I damn well doubt it – she isn’t just your wife – she is Danny’s mom and the mother to your daughters. I really do not believe that Bette would look at any woman in that way – you have to trust her “

    “Is this about what happened with the hired help or is this you feeling insecure because you do not think Bette can love a woman who is growing by the day “

    3. I can’t remember who it was but a few years ago I heard a comic call Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp very pretty girls. Maybe it was your friend? Well, they both have nice eyes and cheekbones. Now, Seahurst, hands off! You can look but not touch. Does Seahurst paint seascapes?

    5. Wonderful update. I’m gonna cut Tina some slack because things are changing so quickly, and I think Bette is smart enough to know that at least for awhile Tina’s going to need constant reassurance. But “T”, you gotta trust her. Regarding Johnny Depp, I’m thinking not.

    6. Nice chapter, I am glad that Tina got over that bought with her hormones and trust. The only thing that I find unattractive about Johnny Depp is his smoking habit, other wise he is a winner :o)

    7. Excellent chapter, ally. Bette would not cheat on Tina at this time of their lives. Oh, no. No way. Tina has to feeling more secure. If Bette accepted Tina w/ twins as her own conceived the way they were then Tina better count her lucky stars.

Just like most actors Johnny has his moments where he is sexy…and moments when he looks like who did it and why…I think alot of Tina’s thinking right now is hormones….she nows this time around is so much different than before. Bette has so much at stake now and their love this time around is deeper. Tina has to trust that and everything will be fine.

    14. Let your friends and co-workers have the guys and you can have all the girls. I am glad that Tina is trying to work through her fears of Bette going outside of their relationship. Once that threat has been put to rest then hopefully things will continue to move forward.

    19. Tina needs to get over her insecurities… soon. I love all of your stories, but I rarely comment on any of them. I had to stop watching Grey’s Anatomy when I saw you posted.
