"Well come on girl…sit down and tell what you been up to" Kit sat down and pulled Alice down with her before the blonde had a chance to protest. Alice sat down and glanced around the table at everyone, stopping for a moment to look at Dana just for second before they both looked away.

"I’ve been working…working…alot" Alice managed to drag out the words when she really wanted to turn into a puddle of water and float away…it was too soon…she couldn’t even handle being in the prescence of Dana.

"Im gonna go you guys…I’ve got a meeting with my agent" Dana sensed the way Alice was feeling because she felt it too and she had to leave that intense feeling illuminating from the both of them was way too much for her to bare. Lara stared at Dana questioning her with the look but Dana was halfway out of the door before she could even get up.

"I’m gonna get back to work" Lara hurriedly made her way to the kitchen. Everyone noticed the unspoken truth and everyone kept their opinions to themselves except Shane.

"Its been hard for her too Al" Alice shot Shane a look that would have killed her had it been a bullet. Shane excepted the killer stare and explained, "Im not taking sides but…you guys are friends…I mean is it worth…".

"Yes no one knows how much I love…" Alice stopped midsentence and questioned her previous statement, "loved Dana okay" her voice returned to a normal volume. She took a moment to collect herself and let her heart return to a normal pace before getting up and leaving abruptly. The group just glanced at one another as an uncomfortable silence fell upon the table.

Jenny took off her huge sunglasses as she walked through the door, immediately dropping her bags at the door. She knew Carmen and Shane weren’t around because Shane’s jeep wasn’t in the driveway.

"Well this is home" Jenny looked down and to her left, the little girl looked so sad, "I know you miss home and mom but…she’s really sick and…". She kneeled down to the height of the girl and looked into the eyes that mirrored her own. This inconvinience couldn’t have come at a worse point in Jenny’s life, fresh out of rehab and having to take in a ten year old.
