The L Word: Tina Kennard’s lost background
“Us…? What about you?” Bette asked with fear in her voice…
“I have to finish something first, then I’ll come back home…I promise!” Tina said, kissing gently Bette’s lips. “Sorry about the cut lip…” Tina said, kissing the bruises…
“It will heal…” Was all that Bette said in return.
“Listen…I gotta go…I’ll come back later to let you know her decision…
“Tina…!” Victoria suddenly said…” Be careful…Paula’s a snake; she can flip you in any second, watch your steps…”
Tina nodded and left the room, living the girls deep in thoughts… Bette was first to speak…
“I’m not leaving without her…!”
“We don’t have much choice, you heard her…!” Tasha said, rising her head from Alice’s lap
“I don’t care…I’m not leaving without her…”
“Bette…this isn’t our war…think about Angie…who’s going to take care of her if something happens with you…or Tina!” Alice said
“This may be not our war, but this is my battle…and I’m not leaving her…she needs me…”
“She needs you alive, Bette…if they kill you…this would be the end for her…you’re keeping her what she’s. You’re the reason she’s not on their side…Tina’s nature is…” Victoria hesitated for a moment….
“Is what…?”
“Tina is evil by nature… unfortunately she inherited this from Paula, but through the years she managed to control it…and thankfully to our grandparents she had learned the difference between good and bad. You came in the right time, to continue that rhythm…you’re the balance in her life…and if something happens to you, she’ll pour out the whole dark content in her soul…” Victoria rose a little, so she could face Bette…
“Tina is very powerful…if she triggers this power the hell will froze and havens will burn…this will be the end of all good…” Victoria said…the girls gasped.
Tina was back in her room, reading some of the text in the book. She was searching for some way to bring back her powers, without waiting Paula’s approval. Her gaze stopped over a passage, saying something about the beginning of all beginnings…the war between good and evil and something about demons she didn’t understood well. Tina didn’t believe in god, but she knew that demons had existed…She was looking through the pages, when the already known text came up…She hesitated in the first moment, but then decide to try…after all the medallion was still around her neck, so some of her powers were there…
