    The L Wing – Chapter 114

    Narration of President Bette Porter

     

     

    My body arches as her mouth closes again over my clit – she is moving inside me as I hold onto the headboard as she drives me closer and closer to oblivion.

    As I come down from the high she has given me she whispers into my ear

    “I love you Bette “

     

    I open my eyes and look down at her – I stroke her dark curly hair

    “I love you too Emily “

    My eyes open WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ?

     

     

    It was so vivid. I look at the woman I am really sharing a bed with – Tina is fast asleep. Her body draped across mine, her left hand with the engagement ring visible in the semi darkness is resting on my stomach. The very tips of her fingers touching my hairs where they have been since I watched her fall asleep.

     

     

    Since Tina and I became lovers I have never had a sexual dream about anyone but her. Before Tina I dreamed in a sexual way about almost every good looking woman who crossed my path during my day.

     

    They could be as slight as a pretty waitress who had served me at a dinner or as embarrassing as David’s wife Kerry.

     

    I move closer to Tina and kiss her brow. She smiles and sighs.

    “I love you “ I whisper in the darkness.

    “Mm “

    I cannot get back to sleep – its 4:50. The alarm will sound in just over an hour – is there any point in even trying ? I look at Tina again and feel my heart just warm as I remember snippets of the day and of our interactions.

     

     

    When the bombs started to go off it was just instinct that made me cover her body with mine. Thinking about it afterwards I decided that I might be President but first and foremost I regard my main role to be Tina’s lover.

     

     

    I am proud of that role and I will never relinquish it like I know I will have to with my job.

    2. Is Bette having doubts? The dream about Emily. What does it mean? Is Bette still somehow affected by Tina and Emily? It’s difficult to be a controversial public figure these days. There are lots o’ nuts out there.

    3. Doubts???… Bette???… NO!!! No, no, no, no, no, no, no… No way! Ally, please, let it NOT be doubts!!! (Here it goes again…;) Ahem… Okay! No, I don’t think this has anything to do with Bette’s feelings, have we not read the 113 previous chapters??? (Geez, I just realised writing it… 113 FREAKIN’ CHAPTERS, Ally!!! Yay! And we’re not even starting to be close to being ready for the wrapping up of this story.. ;) Anyway, I think Tina is the love of her life (despite Emily), you’ve made that quite clear! So I’m thinking that it has to do with Helena cheating and the ‘with whom’ issue… Anyway, looking forward to knowing what’s behind that dream, but I hope nothing too bad for our favorite couple…. Thanks Ally!

Although its not your style Ally, I can potentially see some rocky times ahead for B & T in these upcoming weeks approaching there wedding -the whole Emily dream-thing could get messy- especially if Bette dismisses it and somehow Tina finds out about it (Tina may freak out,who knows)… Helena and her motives are interesting as well, she has mentioned a couple of times her regret bout how things didn’t work out with Tina (maybe she wants her back) but I’m not sure if having Carmen replace her is the right course of action here either, ‘caus down the road, Tina may have felt “pressured” into it and may not feel like Bette really trusts her, hmmmm..lots of possibilities here, I know B & T are safe in your hands Ally, but a little drama never hurt anyone~ love all your stories~ thanks for posting!

    5. Ally – you are a gem posting two stories in one day. Both excellent I really like that you have Bette and Shane talking again. And of course, loved the mindblowing sex. But why was the dream not mentioned in Bette’s thinking again??

    8. I’d let Shane and Bette hold Alice down and let Tina take her on. I don’t trust Helena either and I hope that Tina will reconsider her appointing Helena on her staff.

    11. Ok…should we revisit the fact that Bette dreamed about Emily?? Bad move. I hope that’s not a foreshadowing of things to come before Bette and Tina get married! I think Bette and Shane need to leave the whole scenario of Alice and the affair between Tina and Alice to work out. I’m loving Love and Pride, but I always love an update on this story!!!     14. I love all your other stories but this one is my favorite..its so amazing written. Carmen to work for Tina is a good idea. Those bombs threaths are getting closer and closer..tough decision to make about the wedding. Alice is in deep trouble! Post soon :)

    15. I still say it’s none of Bette’s or Shane’s business regarding Alice’s brief affair with Helena. So the don’t like/trust Helena. At least it wasn’t with an underage congressional page. Or Tina’s little sister. Are we going to get on Bette’s case for dreaming of Emily?

    18. A wet dream about Emily, well after a lifetime with the same partner, we still can have those dreams of former lovers, it’s nothing unusual. I think it’s only something in our subconcious. I Don’t even think it’s necessary to tell your partner about it. Loved this chapter very much and also the 113 before this, hope you continue with it for a long time.

    19. Bette is probably having those dreams because it is so close to the wedding and everything is stressful. I really don’t think she has given herself time to deal with Emily’s death. I think Shane & Bette have a chance to repair their friendship…I don’t know about Alice…I mean she is out there on so many levels I don’t think anyone wants to be her friend or confidant right now. I hope this wedding goes off without a hitch and without anymore of the main characters dying. I think Carmen would make a better Chief of Staff than Helena…I hope at least Tina will consider it. She might not have to worry about it if Bette dosen’t get elected…but I am sure you will stuff the ballot box come November. Keep posting I love this story.

    20. Things usually aren’t just mentioned in passing for no reason, so we’ll most likely get the scoop on Bette’s dream eventually. I feel better knowing Shane didn’t know Helena was stepping out on Tina with Alice.

    21. “If I hold Alice down do you want to kill her or shall we let Tina do it ?” LMAO! :)) Al is gonna be in trouble. Hopefully things will clear out between T and the senior staff ..

    22. i hope to see whether the biz about bette’s wet dream with emily comes up during b&t’s relationship. it may not really mean anything to bette, but if bette is totally honest with tina, it will come up somehow. i hope the 2 of them can get past emily (if tina gets all uptight and jealous, which is of course only natural)
