Kit laughed softly. “I’ve already been through this with you before. I’m not going through it again. You need to tell her before it begins to eat at you or you can live with this big guilt trip for the rest of your life, but Tina will find out eventually. She found out before, and she’ll find again. Tina’s not stupid Bette—you should know better by now.”

“Well—thank you for your support Kit.” Bette looked around. “Where’s Sonja?”

“I don’t know—I’m guessing she’s at the Planet working.”

“Why wouldn’t you know where she is?”

“I’m not the child’s mother, she’s a woman okay. She can take care of herself, besides she’s staying at Helena’s.”

“What?”

“She’s staying at Helena. What part didn’t you get?”

“Stop with the sarcasm Kit. Why is she staying with Helena?”

“Because—it’s a bigger place for her, and she’ll have her own room instead of sleeping on the couch. Why do you care? You ran off after you found out that you have another sister.”

“I know that I ran off, but I needed to collect myself.” Bette sighed. “I want to meet her and talk to her.”

“If you want, go to the Planet. She’ll be there til closing.” Kit walked towards Bette. “I’m not sorry for being hard on you right now, but you needed to hear what I had to say about this whole situation. You have a good woman Bette, but it always takes you to realize that after you lose her.” Bette looked at her sister and sighed. She walked away and grabbed her purse. She walked towards the door and opened it. She looked back at Kit and walked out of the apartment.

                Papi was sitting at the bar at the Planet and took a drink of her beer. She saw a petite black haired woman sitting at a table. She licked her lips as stared at her. The woman looked up and smiled at Papi. Papi winked, and the woman smiled harder and looked down. She got up from the bar and went over to the table. The woman looked up and saw Papi standing at her table.
