While all the royalties were drinking glass of champagne and eating appetizers, the Family Porter and Kennard moved to the garden. Bette and Tina had changed in two other dresses. Bette a white one with yellow accents and Tina a yellow one with white accents. Their hair was loose and they had sandals on. They wanted this to be simple and none formal. They undid their rings and gave them back to their bridesmaids.

The official begins. “Hello, everyone. We are here today to witness the marriage of Bette and Tina. Tina you can start.”

Tina took Bette’s hands in hers and smiled at her. “Bette, babe, I love you, from the moment I first saw you, I knew you were the one with whom I wanted to share my life. Your beauty, heart, and mind inspire me to be the best person I can be. I promise to love you for eternity, respecting you, honoring you, being faithful to you, and sharing my life with you.” Tina said. Both women had tears in their eyes.

“Bette?”

“Tina, my baby, today, I want you to know how lucky I feel for having found the one perfect person for me, the one who suits me so comfortably and who gives me joy, boundless hope and anticipation for the future. Every day we are together, you do nothing but make me happy. The day we met was the day I became truly alive again, and today, our wedding day, I declared my love and devotion for you before the entire world because you are and will always be the best thing in my life. Now, I do it again in front of our family and friends. I make a vow to stand by your side through the best and worst of times, and to give you the best of what I have from now until the end of our days.” Bette said.

“The rings please?”

Kit and Bella walk to the couple. They placed the rings onto one another’s fingers for the second time today.

“I love you.” They both whispered.

“You are now wife and wife. You may kiss the bride.” Tina leaned in and placed a loving kiss on Bette’s lips. Everyone clapped. They looked at their family and friends with a big smile on their faces.
