Alice turned and looked at Dana.  Her breath caught in her chest, the overwhelming feeling of what had happened last night still clung to her.  Dana, erotic, aggressive and so totally different than the timid woman she’d grown accustom to seeing.  She sat down next to Shane, and looked at Dana, who seemed to be ignoring her and talking to Marina. 

            ***** what was she going to do?  Shane was right, per usual, she had to deal with Dana, god Dana the other night at the car.  Oh boy.

            “I brought you a house warming gift.”  Marina said as she stood at Tina‘s door, holding a basket with wine, cheese and fresh bread. 

            “Oh my god, you are so sweet, come on in.  I’ll get some glasses…”  Marina pulled her hand from behind her back and she was holding two wine glasses.

  
          “I have that covered too.”  They both laughed as she let Marina in, they sat by the window at the small table that Tina had set up.  The sun was high in the sky and it filled the small room with a warm glow.  Marina had also brought a CD and it was playing on the stereo, Tina had yet to have the TV connected, and was thinking she might do without for a while.

            “How is the Planet?”  Tina asked, nibbling on the creamy slice of cheese that Marina had offered her.

            “Wonderful.  Kit has all these ideas for the lounge and bar in the back, she is thinking of calling it Atmosphere.  I sort of like that, very Kit like don’t you think?”  Tina nodded, happy that Kit had found a niche, she’d struggled for so long.  She was still sober and seemed to have hit a stride in her life that she was comfortable with. 

            “I’m so happy for her; she really seems to have found something she loves, a passion for something.  A lot like you.”  Marina shook her head, she wasn’t so sure about having passion for anything as of late.

            “I don’t know about that.  Have you spoken to her?  To Bette?”  Marina asked, she’d been curious, she wondered why Bette would have even considered cheating on someone like Tina.  Then again, many people might have wondered why she’d cheat on Francesca.  It was all relative when you were the one in the relationship.
