    Author Notes:

    Sam decides – Tina and Bette get frisky, really frisky, NC-17 kinna frisky – Dana teases Alice – Lara and Jayden join the group – Shane shocks the Gang – Alice makes a confession

     

                “Are you going to
    stand out there?”      Alice
    grunted and said with a rough voice.

     

                “***** yes.”  Sam
    sighed, rubbing her eyes, tussling her hair.

                           

                “Go, I’m fine.  Alice,
    please?”  Sam
    begged, needing a few minutes to adjust to seeing Shane
    with that other woman.

     

                “Did C.J.
    ever tell you about me….?”  Alice 
    That’s what this was all about Sam
    thought.  Alice, it’s the past, thought Sam.
    said in a soft sheepish voice of a child.

     

                “Al
    she told me she slept with you.”  Alice
    closed her eyes and groaned loudly again.

     

                “You knew all this
    time.  You never said anything.”      Sam
    got up and opened the door, feeling her head floating on her shoulders.

     

                “It was *****.  C.J.
    and I had something more than that.”  Sam
    explained.  It had bothered her that C.J.
    had slept with Alice
    but she’d gotten over it she always did get over it.

     

                “Did she tell you that
    I was in love with her?”      Sam
    looked at Alice,
    blinking and swallowing.  Shaking her head
    no.  She hadn’t known that, C.J.
    had never told her.  “I asked her to
    break up with you and to come be with me… 
    The day we graduated, the day you finished med school and started your
    residency.”  Sam
    leaned against the wall, breathing slowly and taking in what Alice
    said.

     

                “She didn’t tell me
    that.”      Alice
    wiped away a tear, and took a deep breath.

     

                “Well I did.  If you let Shane
    run around, she’s going to find herself an Alice
    and she might not make the right choice Sam.”  Sam looked
    down to the floor, studying the black and white tiles of the floor.

     

                “It’s too late, she’s
    made her choice and I’m going to have to trust her with that choice now.”

    Those forks in the proverbial road
    At a time when internal blood letting
    Becomes, even for the staunchest of souls
    Exhausting

    Empty times
    Where nothing seems to make sense
    There’s no direction to be found
    In the words of others
    Only silence

    Vacant attempts
    To find out where one stands
    In the thread of events
    Which dizzily stream past
    A stationary figure

    Enforced isolation
    A stranger still, road walked
    Founded on the need to heal
    But in the healing one is left
    Alone

    A stark reality
    Is when one finds abandonment
    Has become more of a comfort
    Then the process of reaching out

    Is grown used too
    It becomes something accustomed
    And accepted as one’s

    1. For some reason I see a JR coming out and really play hell with the gang. Like a Tina and Sam I mean for real this time. So Alice and CJ boy that would be a low blow. Shane should drop the actress like a hot pototoe.and go home to Sam.. thanks bvh

    3. Wow, Alice had a thing with CJ? Awesome LOL. It’s so obvious that neither Sam nor Shane want an open relationship. They just think that the other one wants it. Talking is the key here, I hope the get to do that before it’s too late. hehehe, and that little scene with Bette and Tina was sooo HOT. Great chapter.
