Bette: Has anyone seen Kit?

Tina: Who’s Kit?

Bette: She’s my sister.

Tina: She’s a ***** too?

Tina didn’t realize there could be more than one ***** person in a family at a time. It seemed stupid but she had much to learn.

Bette: No, she’s a Deejay. Sometimes she spins here.

Tina: Oh.

Now Tina felt really ridiculous.

Shane: She was here a minute ago. I’m sure she’ll be right back.

Bette: Great.

Alice: I can’t believe Bette Friggin Porter is bringing a girl to Milk.

Bette shot Alice the evil eye which didn’t bother Alice.

Alice: It wasn’t until after we broke up that you even invited me here.

A silent alarm went off in Tina’s head.
Broke up would imply they dated. She is introducing me to an ex? She wondered if everyone at the table had dated Bette and one point or another.

Alice realized right away the look of panic on Tina’s face. She had been there before.

Alice: You didn’t know did you?

Tina smiled shyly.

Alice: Yeah we dated but not for too long. Bette couldn’t handle a wild stallion such as myself.

Bette laughed at Alice lovingly.

Alice was enjoying the attention.

Alice: And she was no match for me in bed.

Tina didn’t know what came over her but she had to say something.

Tina: I highly doubt that.

Shane: Oh ***** Al. Be careful this one is feisty.

Bette: That’s one reason I like her so much. Now that I see Tina can hold her own with you crazies I’m gonna go get us all some drinks. T, what are you drinking?

Tina: Umm can I just get a Malibu with pineapple?

Bette: Of course.

She placed a sweet kiss on Tina’s check and headed to the bar.

Tina watched as every eye in room was on Bette. Tina became a little uneasy when she saw a very beautiful woman hugging her at the bar. They were now holding hands and Tina’s was starting to fume.

Alice: Hey killer settle down. That’s Kit.

Tina knew she was nave but Kit was black. She was lost. This evening was not going as planned. Little did she know it was only going to get worse.
