    Tina respected Bette’s wishes and didn’t try to call her for a while.

    Tina respected Bette’s wishes and didn’t try to call her for a while. She wanted so badly to chase after her, but she knew Bette had to sort this out by herself. Rushing her wouldn’t do anyone any good. Tina just couldn’t completely cut the tie to her though so she sent Bette flowers every single day with a card that simply said «I love you with all my heart and soul».

     

     

    She didn’t care if Bette threw the bouquets away, Tina wanted her to know she was still the one for her and she was planning to do this until she got back together with Bette or until… But Tina didn’t allow herself to think the worst.

      

      

    A few times, she drove by the gallery or Bette’s house, hoping she would catch a glimpse of the beautiful brunette. She did once or twice, but she didn’t know if that made her feel better… She felt so empty, so lost, so lonely without Bette by her side and seeing her was like planting a knife through her heart every time.

     

     

    Tina buried herself in her work and wrote even more for the paper, always offering to do overtime. She found herself finally free of Sam when the young woman moved to New York to be in a Broadway play. She had pleaded with Tina to go with her, but had understood rather quickly she was fighting a losing battle.

      

      

    She was working from home one night when there was a knock on the door. When she answered it, she found Shane on the other side. «Hi Tina… May I come in?», Shane asked in her usual calm and subdued manners. Tina was happy to see her. She had pretty much kept to herself since Bette had asked her to leave the house, not even seeing the rest of the gang too often. Shane, Dana and Alice were her friends too, but she was uncomfortable around them because of what she had done to Bette. Of course, they had denied holding a grudge against her, saying that it wasn’t any of their business. But still…

     

     

    Tina let her in with a smile, asked Shane to sit down and offered her something to drink. «A cold beer would be nice», Shane said. Tina brought two beers in the living room and gave one to Shane. She then sat down next to her.

    9. ML, Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! You can’t stop there. Is Bette in Paris? Is she with Danielle??? I just hope that TIna is going to get her heart broken here. I do get the feeling that her betrayal cut Bette to the very core so it will take a big fight to rekindle their romance. I hope that Tina is ready and able to fight for her lover. Tina has to prove her feelings for Bette are as strong as the day they first got together. Maybe reminding Bette of their first Paris adventure will help. I can’t wait.
