    Bette and Tina play 20 questions and Bette ends it with a life changing question for Tina

                “You make me fall in love with you more every time you speak.”

                “We’ll see if you say that when I’m finished grilling you.  Number one…what is your full name?”

                “Christina Elliot Kennard.  Elliot was my mom’s maiden name and I guess they just liked Christina.”

                “Any siblings?”

                “An older brother, Mike and a younger sister, Sarah.”

                “Three…when is your birthday?”

                “March 19, 1979, so you’re two years and one month older than me.”

                “Um, okay…I guess that means I have the authority in the relationship.”

                “You wish, Porter!”

                “Haha, okay, four…what part of the South are you from?”

                “And just why do you think I’m from the South, miss?” Tina said in her best Southern accent.     

                “Oh, I don’t know, just a guess.”

                “You should be a detective—I’m from South Carolina.  Are you going to just repeat the questions I asked you?”

                “Well, they were really good questions and I want to know these things about you, so, yes for the most part they will be your questions.  Five…who was your first kiss?”

                “Tommy Schultz…the cutest boy in 5th grade.  He asked me to be his girlfriend at lunch, and when he walked me home that afternoon we kissed on my front porch.  Even though it was an innocent kiss, my mom flipped and said I was too young but my dad calmed her down.”

                “Aw, she was worried her little girl was growing up to fast.  Six…who was your first love?”

                “You’re not going to ask me who was the first woman I kissed?”

                Bette’s face dropped, “I thought I was the first woman you kissed?”

                “Oh, sweetie, I was just teasing you, you are the only woman I’ve kissed and the only one I ever want to kiss,” she said leaning in to kiss her.

                “Alright, you got me.  Now answer the question…who was your first love?”

                “Drew Kingsbury.  We started dating our sophomore year of high school and broke up our freshman year of college when I found out he cheated on me.  I was really in love with him.  We talked about marriage and kids—I really thought I would marry him.  But then it all crashed and burned when I found out he cheated on me with some girl he met at college.  It wasn’t meant to be, and I see that now but it took me a long time to come to that conclusion.

    2. Great chapter. That last question really caught me off guard. I would think Bette would have proposed in a more romantic fashion, but when the time is right, you may as well jump in with both feet! Now you have to post very soon Kirby because I need to hear T’s answer!

    3. Love this, they’re so cute while answering the questions. 150, Bette you bad girl. Love the last question, great lead in, lets just hope Tina says yes, after she gets over the shock.

    7. Yes, I will marry you Bette. Oh she asked Tina not me, bummer. I loved their questions to each other and I hope that Bette will open up to Tina about her own mother.

    8. When I read that last line my exact words were “Oh, Shit!” : ) I hope that they stay together and that Tina or Bette doesn’t mess it up. And by the way you are doing a great job! Please Post Soon! Great Story!
