“As far as I know, she isn’t or should I say wasn’t, well whatever, now she is.”

            “Did Bette tell you this?” Shane asked.

            “Um, no, not technically.”

            “See, there you go again…”

                “But I saw it!  They are totally in love!”

            “Whatever, Al.  We’ll just ask Bette when she gets here, and you might want to prepare yourself for the hole she’s going to rip into you.”

            “I’m telling you she’s not coming.  She’s going to ditch us to hang out with her blonde beauty, and I for one don’t blame her.”

            “Sure, Alice.”

            “You all just wait and see.  You might think I’m crazy now, but I know what I’m talking about and Bette Porter is in love.”

            Bette took a big breathe before getting out of her car and greeting Tina.

            Calm down, Bette.  It’s just dinner, but oh God I hope it turns into more.  And not just sex.  I want this to last—I want this to last until…forever.

            With one final breathe she opened her car door and turned just in time to watch Tina step out of her car.  She flashed Bette a smile that made her heart stop and then race faster than it ever had before. 

            As Tina walked towards Bette she couldn’t help but stare at the beauty before her.  Bette was absolutely stunning standing there leaned up against her car with a sexy smile plastered on her face. 

            Oh, God she is so amazing.  I just want to hold her and never let go.  I can’t wait to kiss her and then kiss her over and over again…forever.

            “Hey you.  I thought you were trying to lose me a couple of times back there,” Tina said laughing as she walked up and planted a kiss on Bette’s cheek.

            It felt like such a natural thing to do and something that she’d been doing her whole life—not just for one day. 

            ‘I want this to happen every day for the rest of my life,’ Bette thought to herself as Tina kissed her check.

            “Uh, yeah.  I tend to drive a little crazy, especially when I’m hungry and I have beautiful company waiting to dine with me,” Bette said with her million dollar smile that caused Tina to go weak in the knees.
