    Author Notes:

    Dana contemplates – Tina makes a decision, a cold one – Shane takes care of Bette – Ro’s dad pays a visit – Tina learns Rosita’s truth – Dana gets a date – and Tina is on a mission

     

                “No joke?”  She asked and she touched her stomach gently and Oscar shook his head.

     

                “No joke Tina.  She was different after that.  She said she didn’t remember anything from being in the gang or her and Max being friends.  She just remembered her Papi, the garage so the gang cut her loose.  They know she remembered after a while, they know but they never bothered her but they protect her when they can.  She’s like an icon, she rose from the ashes she is the Phoenix.  Did you see the tattoo on her back? “

     

                “I saw it, the Phoenix that rises from the ashes, that is what she told me.  Was she and Max?”  Tina couldn’t bring herself to finish the sentence, all this time she’d assumed that Max was a guy and was straight.

     

                “As far as I know Tina, my sister was straight.  I could have been wrong, I could have been right.  So is Rosita I suppose but they had a connection, two parts of a whole you know?  They were more than friends perhaps they were lovers.  All I know is that Rosita came back there is something she was meant to do.”

     

                Tina nodded, moving over and giving Oscar a hug and telling him she’d be into work the next day.  She grabbed her bag and left the center, still unsure what to do.

    1. At least Tina knows most of the story. That was amazing w/ Ro coming back from the dead. What the Hell is Dana doing? Trying to juggle two women now? Good luck w/ that one Dane.

We have lots of friends but we both love to read. You can call me your friendly reader. but I do like this story. and do wonder about the gang and Tina,Ro and Bette thanks bvh
