    Author Notes:

    Dana contemplates – Tina makes a decision, a cold one – Shane takes care of Bette – Ro’s dad pays a visit – Tina learns Rosita’s truth – Dana gets a date – and Tina is on a mission

                “Will you be there in an hour?”  Her father asked her and she nodded rubbing her dark eyes as she sat up in her disheveled bed, she reached over to what had become Tina’s side of the bed and wondered if she was ok.

     

                She is probably with Bette.  How does that make you feel?  Max asked and Rosita shook her head and remembered her promise to her father years before.

     

                “Its one set, I know I’m a pain but the guitarist hurt her hand…”  He explained for the 2nd time in 20 minutes.

     

                “Papi, I’ll be there.  I swear to you….”  She said her right hand making the sign of the cross over her small chest.

     

                “On Max’s grave?”  Rosita hit him with the pillow and he muttered something in Spanish. 

     

                “You are threading on thin ice.”  Rosita said with a threatening tone in her voice as she glared at her father, this time his look wavered away.

     

                “I can’t help but think of her when I see the whi….  When I see Tina.”  He said softly and kept his head down.  How could he deny his one child what she wanted so badly on earth?  Love?  Was she in love with this white woman, this Tina the Duck person. 

     

                “Papi.”  She growled feeling the heat in her belly as he turned to her and said.

     

                “You promised.”  He said and she saw him pull his cross out from under his shirt and kiss it.  She bit her lip and stammered, her voice now soft and on the verge of tears.

                                                   

                “I know I did Papi. I know I did.”

     

                “One hour.”  He said leaving Rosita with her thoughts.

                “Sister?  Sister?”  Tina repeated and he nodded then Oscar stopped and sat down across from Tina at the small desk next to the copier.  He took a long deep breath then letting it out slowly.

     

                “You want the story?”  Tina nodded and then thought about it for a moment, and held her hand up for him to wait.

     

                “Will Ro be angry if you tell me?”  Oscar shook his head and then started to tell Tina what had happened a few years before.

    1. At least Tina knows most of the story. That was amazing w/ Ro coming back from the dead. What the Hell is Dana doing? Trying to juggle two women now? Good luck w/ that one Dane.

    2. Hey, my friend I read what is good, Ihave eight large builded in bookcases in my home. Full,Barne & Noblrs and Half=Price book store are some of my best friends. We have lots of friends but we both love to read. You can call me your friendly reader. but I do like this story. and do wonder about the gang and Tina,Ro and Bette thanks bvh
