It had been two weeks since Dana’s attack it was Tuesday morning and Kit had just reopened The Planet with little fan fair.  It had been a quiet reopening Kit just wanted to get down to the business of running a business.  It was late morning, and Tina was sitting alone, just the way she wanted it.  She needed time to reflect on things, her life and her work.

Tina‘d been out looking for a paying job for the better part of two weeks, and had yet to land anything worth getting up in the morning for.  It was a daunting task, to try and put your life back together again.  She hated it, in more ways that she could explain.

The ‘girls’ had been rather insistent on getting her and Bette back together again, and Tina had shunned them at every corner.  If Bette had told them what had happened, none of them had told Tina.  So she didn’t quite know what to do with the ladies, she didn’t want Bette, not now and perhaps not ever again.

She’d lost out Friday night, when they’d kidnapped her from the Center and they’d taken her to a strip club.  With a lap dance as a ‘pick me up’ gift from Shane.  She’d left there more depressed than anything else.  Tina had hated it.

Yesterday she had gone to see a lawyer at Oscar‘s insistence, and she was glad she had.  Rosita had even mentioned if off handedly over their conversations over the last 14 days.  She found that she had legal ground to the home and other assets that she and Bette had accumulated over the last 7 years, since everything was in both of their names.  Somehow that put her at ease.

In the middle of the night Friday after the Lap Dance fiasco, she’d snuck out, stepping over the slumbering women in Alice‘s apartment and found herself driving aimlessly around the city.

The night was colder than usual and Tina had to turn the heat on in the car, she was shivering.  The night had been awful; she’d enjoyed herself, to a degree.  She’d watched a sad version of Shane try and get back up from the blow she’d been dealt by Cheri.
