“Go on, Shay,” Molly said, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

“I want to give you your present first,” Shay said, as he reached into the pile under the tree. “Alice said that the Christmas spirit is about giving, not about getting. So I want to give you your present first.”

Shane and Molly both smiled, their hearts warmed by Shay’s statement. “That’s right, Shay,” Shane said, proudly, as Shay placed a gift into her hands.

“That’s for both of you,” Shay said, anxiously awaiting their reaction.

“I wonder what it could be,” Molly said, as she helped Shane rip off the wrapping paper. Inside, was a frame. And in the frame was a picture of Shane and Molly, dancing at their wedding. Shane had her hand behind Molly’s head, cradling it, as their foreheads rested against each other, a blissful smile on both of their faces, looking so in love. “Shay…”

“How did you….” Shane asked, stunned by the beauty of the picture.

“Alice helped me,” Shay said proudly. “We stole one of your cameras when you weren’t looking and I took some pictures. I thought you would like to have some.”

“We love it,” Shane said, placing the picture on the table. Sliding off the couch, she wrapped Shay up in a hug.

“That’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten,” Molly added, as she hugged both of them.

“Guys!” Shay exclaimed, as he wiggled away from the hug. “Stop being so mushy!” Shane and Molly dissolved into laughter as Shay jumped up from them. “I’m gonna go check out my present now!” He darted through the kitchen and flung open the back door, with Bella at his heels, as Shane and Molly followed him out.

“Awesome!” he screamed as he jumped onto the bike. “This is so cool!”

“Wow! That’s some bike there Shay!” Molly added, wrapping her arm around Shane’s waist.

“This is the best gift ever!” Shay said as he ran his hand over the handles, much like Shane had done before. “Can I take it out for a ride?”

“Yeah, sure thing, buddy. But first, I think there’s some more presents under the tree that go with that bike,” Shane replied.

Shay ran back inside and tore through the remaining presents. He put on all his safety equipment and took the bike out for a ride, with Bella along for company. Shane and Molly sat on the couch, cuddled together as they surveyed the room.
