Bette: “busted”
Veronica pauses at the sound of the voice and then she turns towards the kitchen…Her face lights up when she sees Bette…
Veronica: “Elizabeth is that you?”
Bette: “yup…it’s me”
Veronica ran over towards her…
Veronica: “oh my god…what are you doing here?”
Bette: I’m here because of daddy…didn’t mama tell you I was coming?”
Mom: “no…I wanted to surprise her…she needs a rude awakening”
Veronica: “mama”
Mom: “don’t momma me girl…where you been?”
Veronica: “I was out taking care of business”
Bette: “what business…your only 16?”
Veronica: “can’t we talk later…right now I’m tired”
Bette: “no…we can talk about it right now”
Veronica: “come on Izzie…I’m tired and I have a headache”
Bette: “your not pregnant are you?”
Veronica: “no I’m not pregnant”
Bette: “good…go ahead and rest but best to believe we’ll be finishing this conversation later”
Veronica: “ok…ok”
Veronica heads to her bedroom…
Mom: “I told you she’s a trip”
Bette: “I believed you the first time when you said it…god they are both are so big and huge…geez what happened to me?”
Mom: “girl ain’t nothing happened to you…look your my height see we got something in common”
Bette laughs…
Bette: “yeah we do…looks, hair. finger nails, toe nails, eye brows, nose…see everything is just about alike”
Mom: “that’s right and the moment when the doctor showed me you I turned to your father and said that’s my baby…you were so cute with your big ole brown eyes…you were a beautiful baby and now look at you….how old are we now?”
Bette: “I’m 32″
Mom:”god those years flew by in no time…Next thing you know it was your first day of high school and the last day of college…and there you were walking across the stage with your ***** tassle and pin striped suit…I still yelled from my seat-”
Bette: “I know…that’s my baby…”
Mom: “that’s right and you are…you hear?”
Bette: “I hear momma”
Mom: “now if you don’t mind leaving the kitchen while I finish cooking”
Bette: “no…I’d rather wait patiently for my meal thank you”
Mom: “I’ll bet…”
Bette’s mother makes breakfast for them…
Later on that day…
Bette just finshed showering and opens the bathroom door to the sound of her ceephone ringing…She runs into her old bedroom and takes the call…

I have to tell you..i read all 16 chapters last night at work… and i loved every one of them… just so that you know i can’t comment at work… but i will be reading when ever you post… and my next project will be to go back and start your other story… so glad i found this one… love that bette is waiting for tina… and that tina is coming to be with her… so please continue… would also love to know what the code is all about… so i do hope you have bette explain it … later…
