“Come in” Dana answered.

“Hey”

“Hey yourself, whats up?” Dana asked.

“Why don’t you tell me?” Alice replied.

“Al what are you talking about?”

“Dane, c’mon, I think I know my best friend… something is wrong..”

“Yea, I know, but Al, I really don’t want to talk about it, I just want to have a fun weekend.”

“oh… ok then. I’ll see you at dinner then I guess.” Alice turned to walk out.

“Al wait, ok. Ok. I broke up with Tonya today! I just realized I wasn’t in love with her, you know? Even though she was so good to me and everything I mistook my gratitude toward her for love….So I told her right before I left, so she could have time to move out before I got back…” Dana confessed.

“Oh Dane, I’m sorry that you have had to go through this, but I am so glad you realized that.” Alice smiled at Dana.

“Thanks Alice, I just want to have fun this weekend with all my friends and try and forget about how I hurt Tonya. Oh and please don’t mention it to anyone else ok? I don’t want to put a damper on the weekend ok?” Dana pleaded

“Dane, you wouldn’t put a damper on the weekend, but you know I won’t tell anyone, your secrets safe with me.” Alice replied.

“But, can I ask you something Dane?”

“Umm sure ok?”

“Does this mean….” Alice was interrupted by a knock on the door.

“Come in!” Dana shouted, Helena opened the door.

“So I was just seeing how you ladies are liking your rooms?” Helena stated.

“So far so good” Alice replied, “I like this connected bathroom, saves time from walking around the hallway!”

Dana laughed. “Yea, it sure does, she can just burst right in here anytime!”

Helena smiled and said “well good thing Tonya’s not here then, You don’t want Alice bursting in on something you don’t want her to see!”

Dana and Alice looked at each other and chuckled.

“Good thing!” said Dana.

“Well I should take a shower and get ready for dinner then” Alice said and turned around, “See you all in a bit!”
