The father spotted the couple too. He waved at the brunette and took his family over. “Hi there.”
Though they had not talked before, but it was a pleasant coincidence for them. Bette stood up and greeted them. “Hey, small world, huh?” And she introduced herself and her wife to the other couple.
Jake and Miranda, the husband and wife, had been curious about the women when they saw them before. “So, where’s the little boy? We saw him with you two. And another lady.”
“Oh, Michelangelo, he’s our son. His aunt Alice took him to Disney World.” Tina smiled at the mention of her boy.
“Yeah, we’re on our honeymoon.” Bette added, and she felt a small body bumped into her leg. She looked down, and chuckled to see the little fair haired boy, a toddler with pacifier in his mouth, stepped on her foot and hugged her knee. “Awww, hi baby.” She bent down and picked him up. His eyes grew wide and he giggled to her baby-talking. “You’re so cute… yes you are! Oooh yes you are… What’s your name, little man?”
He only sucked on his pacifier harder and attempted at pronouncing something in his mouth. And when Bette bounced him up and down a little in her arms, he laughed and grabbed a fistful of her hair.
“That’s Ethan, and we have Emilie and Emma.” Jake put one hand on each of his daughters’ head.
The twins bade them hello in unity, not knowing they just totally crashed a certain brunette woman’s heart.
“Oh my god are these the Furla spring’s special on your arms?” Though not one of the most luxurious band of Italy, Bette still noticed. The leather bags on the girls’ arms were small and very exquisitely made. It went well with their matching outfits. “They look so pretty on you, girls. You’ve got great taste.”
“Thank you ma’am!” Emilie and Emma soon felt the air of importance on them and they giggled in response with the childishness very infectious.
Jake shot the brunette an appreciative smile. “Well, we like to indulge our beautiful princesses a little.”
“The girls never get tired of dressing up.” The mother pitched in. “Teenage years would be a handful, I can already tell.”
“Hah, tell me about it.” Bette shook slightly, thinking back to her teenage years when fashion and motorcycles were all she had in mind everyday. Still, the girls were too darn cute and even they were going to grow up into screaming fighting teenage monsters, she’d love to take the both of them home.

I don’t know. It’s such a relief for me to actually finish a story. And it’s sad for me too.
This story, although originally a little side-away, a break from the other one, now holds a very special place in my experience on this fanfic site.
My readers, your passion and your appreciation fueled my strength all the way to make this happen. I sincerely thank you for that.
Tomorrow my journey to build a life abroad starts. I’m sorry if there’ll be less frequent posts on my other story “The Lucky One”, but I’ll try my best to continue writing.

well that was just perfect, and I see you granted my wish by adding little Angelica at the end, and they lived happy ever after, now it’s 100% perfect. Im so sad to see this is the end, but as they say “all good things must come to end”.
