    Geek…

    Before she haughty turned her head away from me, as if I wasn’t worthy. I stood in awe as I saw her continue her journey through the hallway, followed by her socalled friends, who looked upto her as if she was a queen… I found it surprising that she had even honored me with that short 4-letterword, but not as surprising as I found it that everyone seemed to find her so beautifull. As I turned around and crouched to get my books, a smile played with my lips, because of the immaturity of the ‘civilians’ who looked at this queen-bee as if she was indeed of royal blood.

      

    A scent entered my nostrils, a wonderfull mesmerizing scent, that I couldn’t quite place untill:

      

    Here…

    A soothing voice that fitted the softness of the hand that was gently placed on my sleeve, as another handed me my glasses which had also been a victim to gravity… It took me a while to tear my eyes away from that hand that so casually lay on my arm, and I recall not remembering when the last time had been since I had been touched… And then especially touched without wanting to turn away as fast as I could, and maybe even touched in a meaning that went beyond the word…

      

    I felt slightly dizzy as I looked up, and yet again my eyes met those of someone else… Hazel, with hints of green and darker brown, as if an artist hadn’t been able to decide what exact eyecolor the object of his affection had. They joined her lips in a delicate smile she offered me, lighting up, and I couldn’t help but continue to stare, as I felt like I was allowed a glance into her soul…

      

    Come on, Tina…

    A handsome broadshouldered boy, who tossed back his head to remove the dark greasy hair out of his eyes, grabbed her arm to help her up, a little roughly, only just allowing her to hand me the spectacles.

      

    She rose from her crouching position as she shot a small smile to the boy, and I felt somehow triumphant when I saw the mask, the blinds I knew so well for I had used them for as long as I remembered, prohibit him the access to what was behind her eyes… The access she had, on the other hand, granted me…

And you surely know how much I love those slow burns of yours, don’t you?… Oh, and the ponctuation of this great new adventure between these long lost friends/lovers, with those cute and precious little flashbacks makes the whole thing just perfect!… Errr J, you just blow me away…!
