Rescue Me, Chapter 27
Previously
Over the squawk box “Car 3, Engine 2, Rescue 1, Medic 6 and Medic 2 respond, intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard, a motor vehicle collision with reported injuries and entrapment. Respond Code 3time out 1152.”
“Here we go Bette,” says Chris.
“Yeah,” mumbles Bette. Bette puts on her game face and prepares herself for what is to come. AT least that’s what she thinks.
“Damn Chris, this scene looks like a battle zone. Let’s get to it,” says Bette.
Bette does a quick scene survey. The battalion chief directs her and Chris to a Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG hardtop convertible which was lying on the driver’s side and the roof was resting against a light standard as Medic 2 arrives are take the checks the other vehicle.
“What do we have Chief,” asks Bette.
“The driver’s pinned inside. He ran the light and got T-boned on the passenger side. It rolled and slide into the pole. We’re working on stabilizing the car now. Once that’s done, we’ll get one of you inside with him,” said the chief.
“OK, I’ll get the rest of me gear and be right back,” said Bette. Less than 2 minutes later Bette is back in full turn out gear and ready to rock-n-roll. The car has been stabilized and the rescue crew has removed the windshield so Bette can access the patient.
“***** Chris, this is going to be a *****. There’s like no room to work in this two-seater and I have no idea how we’re going to get him out of here yet,” says Bette.
She accesses the patient and finds him still strapped into his seat with his head tilted down toward his chest and toward his left shoulder. He’s got gurgling respirations with a respiratory rate of 6 per minute, massive trauma to the left side of his head and he has vomited at least once. She finds some subcutaneous emphysema over his clavicles . He does not respond to verbal stimuli, but he has a weak carotid pulse.
“Chris, give me the portable suction NOW. And I need a collar ASAP. ***** me. We’ve got to get this guy out like yesterday,” yells Bette.

If he dies,Tina will be so guilty. and if he lives will he be okay or expect Tina to come back to him. You have started some trauna here

nice, man poor tina she has 2 save eric, the guy who used 2 be her man, poor tina, what are the odds of him living, i just hope tina doesn’t get 2 close to eric because she feels sorry for him, i know this is going 2 cause major promblems between bette & tina, it’s just simple, she feels sorry for him, he might kiss tina, bette walks in, she sees them in a lip-lock, bette is furious, bette and tina fight & end up breaking up. i really could careless if he dies but if it’s going to affect tina if he does, so regretfully i have 2 say hang on eric, if she doesn’t care then i don’t care. I think we all know how this one is going to play out; Eric is going to live because Tina being the person she is, is bound to save his life. But DAMN….did she have to pass out?
