    Reconciliation Part 22

“Oh. Why did she call twice?”

Chelsea paused for a minute, “Called twice…Oh yes! Once to say she liked the film and the other to wish you well. That’s why. I forgot she called twice. Silly me.”

“It’s not a big deal.” She scrolled through her phone log as Chelsea stood by and watched anxiously.

Dylan spoke under her breaths a few ‘fucks’ and ‘damn it’s as she scrolled through her phone seemingly purposelessly. She came across Helena’s number, paused and contemplated if she should call or not. Helena told her goodbye so coldly. It still was sending shivers down her spine. She stared at Helena’s name and shook her head. She had one voice telling her to call but another telling her not to. Helena made it clear she did not want to speak to her. Helena would never really ever trust her and forgive her of her past mistakes anyway. She asked herself, how could she think I would sue her again? How could she make such a big deal about an insignificant relationship? Chelsea meant nothing but perhaps she was not being fair to either of them. Although she told Chelsea she was in-love with someone else, she still slept with her up to the night they arrived in LA. Despite this Helena was where her heart was. Why wasn’t it enough for her to pour out her soul, apologize and tell Helena she loved her? What more could she have done? Would it have mattered anyway? Dylan shut off her phone and concluded sadly, in the end, it would not have mattered.

After making a few calls to meet Dylan’s requests, Tina called Bette. Bette was driving in her car on her way to a meeting. “Bette, Honey, What happened? Did they have a fight or something? Dylan cancelled all her meetings and asked to leave town sooner.”

“Helena found out that Dylan’s been having an affair with Chelsea. She’s upset that Dylan didn’t tell her upfront about it.”

“What! No! Fuck! Oh my God. I can’t say I blame Helena.”

“I don’t understand what happened. Helena called to speak to Dylan and when she got off the phone she was even more dejected.”

“Chelsea told me Dylan did not want to speak to Helena.”

“That’s the same story I got from Chelsea. Helena is devastated.”

“So is Dylan. She was very tight lipped about it. She did not want to speak. She just wanted to go home.”

“What the hell happened between them? Dylan spent the night. It sounded like it was incredible. It sounded like they reconciled then she found out about the affair with Chelsea. I guess that was the end of that.”

“What the hell was Dylan thinking? I would have never guessed that. Chelsea is a bit annoying. She looked like the perfect assistant, a little over the top at times. Dylan seemed pretty content with her.”

Bette chuckled, “I guess a little too content for Helena tastes.”

“This is horrible. Do you think they can work it out? Or do they just need to move on from it once and for all?”

“I feel so bad for Helena. It is very apparent she is just as in love with her as she was two years ago. After this disappointment I fully expect she will withdraw into herself even more.”

“Maybe she will find some distraction soon.”

“Yea! Right! Who is going to distract Helena from Dylan?”

Almost simultaneously they laughed and proclaimed, “Raquel.”

    1. Someone need to B^&*h ,what ever her name is. Dylan should call Helena better still let Tina tell Dylan that Helena called her and old s&&t face would lether talk to her. Okay just get them back together. thanks

    2. I am probably the only one feeling this way but having been in Helena’s situation more than once I understand perfectly how betrayed she feels once again. Dylan has had the opportunity twice to fill in Hel’s about that biatch of a Chelsea ; first when they were talking about who send the flowers and Hel’s told her about Raquel and second when He’s was asking her about Chelsea. She had the perfect opportunity there to explain to Helena what had occured between her and her assistant but no once again she chose to not tell the truth even tho she knew how vulnerable Helena was and even though she knew how much Helena hates the lies. Dylan jut never learns and I hope she bares the consequences of her acts.

    3. OH BOY Squirl, I feel like your going to bring Racquel back, when you do (I mean if) can you tell us all about what she looks like again????? PLEASE. ok, sorry I konked out last night but here I am back from work and right to your story, been looking forward to it all day. BeLena is quite right, Dylan had chances and knew she was already on think ice, she could have slowed things down just a little to at least say they need to talk about them when they had more time togetther, she just needs to get a better clue but she needs to realize that now and tell Helena so our poor Helena’s heart dose’nt hurt so much. Thank you, Md

    4. Well first of all, thank goodness we have more of this wonderful story!! Yeah!!! Second, I hate Chelsea, although I expect you wrote the story with that intention. I do think that Helena has a point – why the heck couldn’t Dylan just come clean about foolin’ around with her assistant? I mean just a casual mention that they had a fling and it was basically over would have been enough. I also am confused why Dylan is resorting to her old pattern of running whenever there is a conflict. That’s pathetic — she hasn’t learned a thing. Finally, Helena needs to take a valium. Yeah, Dylan was wrong but give the woman a break… Geez…the drama — you’re killing me Squirl. Sign me up for more!

    5. Chelsea is so in the wrong how does she think Dylan will love her if she forces it to happen when its so apparent that Dylan still loved Helena.I think that Racquel could distract Helena but we all know that we want DyLena because we are secretly rooting for them. please post soon.i am also intrigued by this slight Bette crush.

    6. Squirl-Whirly. First of all, HELLO! And secondly, I feel like b*tch-slapping Chelsea! Urg. That woman really needs to get a life and stop trying to control Dylan! Damnit. Man. Alice’s comment about the convent was PRICELESS! Laughs. Hmmm. Can’t wait to see how big a distraction Raquel is going to be. Things are going to get interesting. (; PPS!

    7. Squirl, you’re going to have to convince me that having one’s head pulled into Alice’s midsection is a consolation of any kind. Now holy frickety-frack, just when was Dylan supposed to tell Helena about her dalliance with the Seacow, er, Chelsea? I mean, the woman had her mouth full most of the evening and it’s not polite to talk with your mouth full!

    8. ya didn’t think you’d be able to sneek this in on Tuesday night and I wouldn’t catch it did ya? Going to read if I fall asleep your comeing with me. Thanks Squirl, Md
