Bette: Baby, are you okay?

Tina: Do you forgive me for what I’ve said back in the therapist office about me wishing that you were dead? (Tina looked so sad and it broke Bette’s heart to see her wife sad.)

Bette (smothering Tina’s face with soft kisses): My baby, my sweet and precious baby T, there is nothing to forgive. You were angry then and so was I; we were both hurting because we loved each other too much and failed each other. But we won’t fail each other now or ever.

(After Bette said that, she took Tina’s hand and kissed it softly then placed her hand on her chest where her heart was located.)

Tina (in a soft voice): I just need to know that we are together for life, no matter what!

Bette: Tina, you have captured my heart and it is for good. I can’t love another woman because you are the only woman that I love. (Once again, Bette kissed Tina’s hand tenderly and pressed it against her cheek and tears forming in her puppy brown eyes.)

Tina: Oh Bette, you are just a sweet puppy at heart!

Bette: I love you so very much and I would die for you, you know that and even when we weren’t together, I’d still die for you.

Tina: You are such a sensitive romantic at heart, I fell in love with you years before because of that and I am even more in love with you now. (Bette buried her face in Tina’s neck and not too long after, Tina could feel the hot tears streaming down her neck. Bette was weeping and Tina could feel Bette’s body moving as she was weeping. Tina wrapped her arms around Bette and squeezed her tightly, now trying to comfort the love of her life. To Tina, Bette may look or sound like a hard ass, but in reality she was indeed a very vulnerable and overly sensitive woman. If anything negative happened to Tina or Angelica, Bette would lose control and start bawling. That was what Tina loved most about Bette, was her vulnerability. Tina stroked Bette’s hair and began kissing her wet cheek, reassuring her love for her and that she would always be there as well.)
