Patricia: Tina, when you two broke up the second time, was their any bitterness involved?

Tina: Of course there was, we both failed each other and it hurt both of us very much. At one point I hated Bette and wished that she was dead! (Those words hit Bette like a tons of bricks and she started sobbing.)

Patricia: When Tina confessed that, how does that make you feel, Bette?

Bette (sobbing): It hurts like hell! (Tina stroked Bette’s face and looked at her with remorse and love.)

Tina: That is how I felt then, but I don’t feel that way about you now, I love you.

Bette (still sobbing): I love you too, but that still kills me that you wanted me dead at one point.

Patricia: Bette, I don’t think Tina wanted you dead, I think she thought she wanted you dead but it was just her anger and hurt talking. Am I correct, Tina?

Tina: Of course! (Tina took Bette by the shoulders and looked straight into her love’s tear covered eyes.) Bette, you mean everything to me and I love you with all my heart and soul, but is that enough for you? Could you really handle a fuck up like me?

Bette (sobbing harder and placing her face in Tina’s shoulder): Don’t do this, don’t leave me again, I need you! (Tina wrapped her arms around Bette’s shaking body and comforted her tenderly.)

Tina: I just get so scared sometimes, Patricia.

Patricia: I understand that but you must overcome your fears to be with the woman that you love and from what I’m gathering right now, you obviously want to be with Bette.

Tina (quietly): I do.

Patricia: Then you two must come back here once a week and to work on those fears and to give me an update on your addictions. I want to help you get through the difficult road ahead, but you must let me, Tina.

Tina: I will let you. (For the next several minutes, Tina held the sobbing Bette in her arms and trying to calm her down with comforting words and touch. (Within minutes, Bette calmed down and gave Tina a soft kiss on the lips.)

Bette: I love you.

Tina: I love you too.
