Dana woke to the harsh ring of her phone; she blindly fumbled around for it on her dressing table.
“What?”
“Dana? Where the hell have you been?”
“Eric, what do you want?”
“I’ve been waiting at the office for over an hour. Need I remind you that you have a photo shoot later and we need to finalise arrangements for the sponsorship dinner?”
“I’ll be at the shoot and I don’t care about the dinner. Just call me and tell me where and when.”
“You need a date.”
“What?”
“You need to take someone. Come on, Dana Fairbanks, big, famous, lezzy tennis player. You can’t fly solo.”
“I won’t fly solo.”
“Make sure it’s somebody tasteful.”
“Fuck you. It’ll be whoever I want it to be. Now fuck off and let me get ready, I’ll talk to you later.”
With that Dana slammed the phone down and looked around her bedroom, she was alone. She got up and walked through her house, following the trail of discarded clothes, in search of Alice. Where was she? Looking at the clock did she see that it was 9:45 and Alice was nowhere to be seen, realising that she had been left hurt Dana. She hadn’t treated Alice as a hooker, she didn’t think of her as a hooker and she genuinely believed that they had had a connection. Pulling on some clothes, Dana grabbed her keys and headed out, she needed to find Alice.
She cruised down the same street as she had the night before. Alice was no where to be seen, stopping her car she was instantly approached by a short, skinny girl who looked like she had never eaten and hated the world.
“You looking for company?”
“No. I need to find someone and I’m willing to pay.”
“Honey, you just said the magic word. Who you after?”
“I know her as Alice. I don’t know what she really calls herself.”
“Blonde hair, cute smile?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow she really told you her real name. How much you pay her for that?”
“I didn’t pay anything.”
“You got a freebie? Someone aint gonna be happy if they find out she’s giving for free.”
“Look, I don’t want any trouble, for me or her. I just need to find her, if you help and keep quiet I’ll pay.”

I can almost get past my jealousy of you having seen Leisha in concert. ;-D I was so excited to see that you posted and the chapter did not disappoint. Hotness, a little humor and the impending drama. Good for Dana to track Alice down. Good for Alice to drop her walls for a bit (as it were). I am very worried about whatever is behind the door. Wow! Great update, I agree with Goose…i was very freakin excited to see that you had posted. You really balanced everything nicely i thought, but i must say. What is the hell.she locked Dana in and if something bad happen.how will dana be able to help???

WOH hotness hotness- I have a feeling that Dana is gonna get out and try to protect Alice and get into more trouble… yeah that’s just Dane. But who’s at the door? I can’t help but remeber the skinny girl’s saying “somebody isn’t gonna be happy” that Alice didn’t get paid sleeping with Dana. But more drama! I love it love it love it.
