    Chapter 11 – B&T beginning

     

    “Well… I still don’t know” Bette said slightly blushing at the thought of Tina.

     

    Tina was spending the rest of her evening barely interacting with anyone at the wedding, for only a certain brunette occupied her thoughts. She had no idea what was it about Bette that drove her so insane with desire. But she also knew that there was this other softer, kinder and funny as hell side of Bette that was also pulling her towards the brunette.

     

    She’s like a magnet… So what am I gonna do? Where the hell can I take her on a date?! I know where I would like to take her and what I would like to do with her… but I don’t want her to think that I’m only after sex. Oh damn it! Why do I get this urge to run see her again? I feel like a freaking teenager again Tina was battling with herself.

     

    “A penny for your thoughts?” Mrs. Kennard said as she sat down next to her daughter.

     

    “Mom… hi… HI!” Tina replied startled by her mother’s voice.

     

    “Alright honey, what’s wrong? You’ve been jumpy all day and you seem incredibly distracted, even for you. Are you sick and you’re not telling us?” Mrs. Kennard asked sensing her daughter was in distress.

     

    “Jesus mom, no! Nothing is wrong with me, I’m just tired you know… brides can be very exhausting” Tina tried to lie, again.

     

    “Christina I’m your mother and you don’t fool me, you know? I could tell the minute I saw you yesterday that something was up with you… so I just came here to tell you that I’ll be there whenever you want to talk about it ok? I love you honey” Mrs. Kennard sweetly said and Tina just placed her head on her mother’s shoulder.

     

    “I love you too mom… I love you too” The blonde softly said feeing slightly guilty.

     

    When the newly wedded couple left to rest so did most of the guests, including Tina. She hadn’t drunk much throughout the day but as it was getting late the emotional rollercoaster and events of the day were taking their toll on the blonde. So she figured she should have a drink before going to bed, alcohol combined with exhaustion would help her relax better. Besides she couldn’t wait for the next day to arrive, so she could go see the beautiful chef again without looking a bit stalker-ish.

    31. I have always enjoyed strawberry sauce on my pancakes. I feel for Laurel, but I have funny feeling that this will not be the end of her pursuit of Bette. I loved Alice advice to Bette.
