Chapter 108

Tina and Bette relaxed in each others arms after making love. They both felt so content, so loved, so in love. It was so peaceful that they could hear each other breathe. They were both enjoying the closeness they shared.

“T?”

“Yeah Babe?”

“Are you really excited about having another set of twins?”

“I am thrilled that we’re going to have another set of twins. Why?”

“I don’t know….it just seems like a lot of little feet, little hands, little mouths, little butts to be wiped, lots of shots, millions of colds, a thousand report cards, four sets of braces, little league…”

“Hold it Babe…come on…we can do this together….just imagine all the love…all the little kisses, the first steps, first words, all the smiles, all the laughter…”

Several moments passed where neither of them said a word – and the peacefulness was soothing.

Just then – the silence was broken by the sound of Dylan screaming.

“Bette…I swear to God our little boy has the Porter mouth. He’s just like you; happy and content one minute and then screaming for a BOOB the next!”

“That’s my boy…but if he keeps it up, Taylor is going to want a new roommate. She’s just such a calm baby – content almost all the time. Definitely a Kennard!”

Bette gave Tina a quick kiss and then got out of bed and grabbed their robes. She put hers on and then helped Tina put hers on. They walked to the nursery.

Bette picked up Dylan and kissed him. “Hey little man….what’s going on?” Bette kissed him again – his cries became softer. “That’s it Dylan…let’s see if you need a new diaper and then I’ll get you some BOOB – as your mommy likes to call it.”

Tina held Taylor close to her while Bette had her conversation with Dylan….she loved it when Bette talked to the babies. She had to smile.

Once the babies were changed they all went back to the bedroom for another round of their feeding ritual. Tina fed Dylan first while sitting between Bette’s legs. Bette cuddled with Taylor who was content to just be held at the time. When Dylan was finished they exchanged babies. As Bette held Dylan and Tina fed Taylor, Bette leaned forward and whispered into Tina’s ear.

“Hey T…would I sound perverted if I admitted that this little domestic scene is making me want you again….my God! I just can’t get enough of you? So when we’re done here….can we?”

“Sure – why not…but it’s my turn to take the lead – I have a plan…”

Tina moved her hands over Bette’s back and then she untied her robe and pushed it off of her shoulders and once again it fell to the floor. Tina sat on the bed just above Bettes head and grabbed a grape off of the stem. Ok – I’m going to feed you these grapes – all you need to do is chew them. Ok Baby – open up.”
