    “We’re just 2 friends, 2 good friends,2 best friends…”

    Bette threw open the door to her favorite diner on 51st street. It was 3 am and she was a complete and total mess.

    Alex lowered his sunglasses onto his nose as he waved Bette over to the table.

    Alex: What the ***** is going on?

    Bette: I am a blank canvas!

    Bette scooted into the booth across from her friend. Her eyes scanning the table for the cup of coffee she had asked him to order her. Bette took a giant sip before continuing on.

    Alex: What does that mean?

    Bette: It means, that I need help and I’ll do whatever it takes.

    Alex’s ears perked up.

    Alex: I’m listening…

    Bette: Sara and I are going to take some time apart.

    Alex: What?!

    Bette: It’s for the best. If things continue the way they are I will just end up hurting her. I can’t bear to do that.

    Alex: So are you guys like, breaking up?

    Bette: No!

    Alex: Then what?

    Bette: We talked and we decided it best that I take some time to figure out exactly what I want.

    Alex: what do you mean, what you want? Bette, I’m lost here.

    Bette: It’s a long and terrible story Alex.

    Alex gave Bette a suspicious look.

    Alex: Give me the synopsis then.

    Bette took a deep breath.

    Bette: Sara made love to me, while I closed my eyes and thought of Tina.

    Alex: Oh *****.

    Bette: Yeah I know.

    Alex: Seriously?

    Bette: No, I’m lying!

    Alex: Ok I’m sorry, it’s just…that’s pretty low.

    Bette: I know Alex, thank you.

    Alex: Oh god poor Sara. I saw this movie on Cinemax late night once that was like that. Except it was a guy and a girl and she was picturing his sister. Anyway she didn’t know it but he had ESP can could read her thoughts. So the whole time he knew that his girlfriend wanted his sister, but the thought, even though it was disturbing, turned him on. It was the craziest thing. Really fucked up but crazy. And then it turns out that the sister…

    19. How am I supposed to prepare myself for whats coming when I dont know whats coming. And with you, shit happens, you never. Although you see my predictions have been on the money, still I wouldnt put anything past you. Well, I must say, its nothing personal, but after Sara called Tina a twit, she lost all my cool points. LOL. I really need to stop taking this so seriously, please just try not o kill me. I loved this chapter, I see a bit of the old Bette coming back, where she didnt want to let anybody in.       Girl, you got it going on!
      The chit chat between Bette and Alex then Alice and Tina is inspired.
      This dialogue rattles off the screen.
      I do think that there will be lows before the highs btu it life you have to stand and fight for what you believe is yours. All the heartache and pain will be shortlived because the outcome will complete you.
      Others will get hurt but they too will heal over time and can build new relationships in the future.
      It is dishonest to stay with someone out of pity and a fear of destroying them. This will be the result but will take years and be more difficult to bounce back from.
      I know that in your heart Bette and Tina will overcome all these obstacles and reunite however life does get in the way. This story expertly mirrors this and gives so much pleseure and joy to all readers.
