    The one where Angie discovers snow

    “It made Angie laugh “

    “It did – think she’s ever had as much fun as she is now ?”

    “Not sure “

    Angie was helping another two families and their children to make a giant snowman – they were only a few feet from where Bette and Tina stood so both were happy to watch.

    “I want to say something “ Bette said

    “Sure “

    “When you go to LA “

    Tina nodded

    “Angie and I are coming with you. I am sick of being so defensive – if Alice and Jenny and Kit hate me well that’s their damn look out – it’s not my problem. I hurt you when I cheated on you and you have forgiven me and put it behind you and we are moving on. Screw them – lets go to LA – lets stay there for a week or so – enjoy the sun and make sure that you get the job you deserve “

    Tina was amazed “Bette ?”

    “I have thought about it and I am determined not to hide in the shadows – what good does that do me or you or Angie. We can invite Shane round to see Angie and hang out with us – the rest of them can go to hell “

    Tina shook her head “ Bette – this is huge “

    “No – its your lover and your daughter joining you in LA – I will get us a suite in a top hotel and we will chill out. I can take her swimming and shopping. It will be good for all of us “

    Just when Tina didn’t think that Bette could astonish her – she did. Tina became emotional – she moved closer and kissed Bette

    “I love you “

    “I love you more “ Bette replied

    “No doubts Bette ?”

    “No – maybe its about time I cleared the air with Alice anyway and I would like to know what I did to Kit all of a sudden. I was thinking that I have conquered bigger demons than Alice – and if I get the chance I will squash Jenny for no other reason than she is probably the most annoying lesbian in the world “

    3. Thank you for all the updates, especially this one. NYM is still my favorite out of all of them. I can’t wait to see how Bette handles all her detractors left in CA! Have a fun break.

    4. That wonderful that Bette is going with Tina, I was hoping she would when Tina first said she had to go to LA. I’m still very surprised that Kit has turned her back on Bette and for what reason. Bette didn’t do anything to harm her when she was there for the wedding, unless helena has said something to Kit. At any rate as Bette said, they can all go to hell. She has her family and that is all that is important. One thing I think they should do is tell Angie that Bette is her mother before they go to LA or someone, (Alice), might do it for them. Thanks for posting one of my very favorite stories.
