    Tina was watching Bette and she could assume what was going through her mind. When Bette turned to face her she winked at her to tell her it was okay. But since Tina couldn’t wink, it made Bette laugh.   “What, why are you laughing?”   “You try to wink but you can’t and it’s

    Tina was watching Bette and she could assume what was going through her mind. When Bette turned to face her she winked at her to tell her it was okay. But since Tina couldn’t wink, it made Bette laugh.

     

    “What, why are you laughing?”

     

    “You try to wink but you can’t and it’s funny to see that. I’m sorry babe, I didn’t mean to make fun out of you.”

     

    Bette softly placed a kiss on Tina’s cheek.

     

    Sonny watched the two women and smiled. Tina looked at him, raising her brow.

     

    “I’m sorry Tina but Bette is right. It really looks cute the way you try to wink.”

     

    Sonny shrugged his shoulders to emphase the fact that he also didn’t want to make fun of her.

     

    “Look at this, you two hardly know each other and already teaming up against me!”

     

    That’s when all three of them broke out into laughter. In the mean time the plane had landed and taxied to the hangar where there was a car waiting for them.

    Before Bette stood up, Sonny laid his hands on her hands and looked her in the eye.

     

    “Hey Bette, relax. Everything will be alright, I’m there and Tina is there and most of all, your sister is there.”

     

    Bette teared up again and mouthed, “thank you.”

     

    The drive to the clinic took them 30 minutes. The closer they came, the more nervous Bette became to the point of openly shaking. All kinds of thoughts went through her mind. How she longed for a drink right now. She was shaking her legs and licking her lips. Sonny and Tina looked at each other. Tina shrugged, she never saw Bette this way. Finally the car stopped. Sonny stepped out and whispered to Tina that he would go inside and whenever they were ready they could follow. It was a private clinic and the people knew they were coming. Sonny walked away.

     

    Tina turned around and looked at Bette who looked completey miserable.

     

    “Babe, are you okay? No wrong question. What can I do for you right now?”

     

    Bette didn’t respond. It was as if she was far away, not there in the car with Tina. So Tina put her hands on her thighs and softly squeezed them.

      • I totally agree with you. Ki’t s part was limited in the show. Kit came alive to me through the stories. I always think of Kit as a bit ghetto. A woman who knows what live has to offer. I’m happy you like her.

      What ever happened in the past, people can change when they truly want it, and Bette did it and i believe in Kit that she isn’t the same like in the show.

      Can i admit that i am in love with your Sonny, he is fantastic and so is Tina. It is important to have people standing behind you, who support you through the bad and good times.

      • Thank you for loving Kit. In the show she was the one with all the bad luck, so in my story I want her to stand on the other side. She will be the strong one. The rock in the Porter family, with Sonny at her side.
