    Tina had a wonderful day. Danny past all the tests at the consultancy brilliantly. He was such a flirt and so smart for his age! Alice, Tina and Danny took a stroll through the park, got some groceries on the way home and while Tina bathed Danny, Alice took care of dinner.
    They had a nice dinner and talked for awhile. At eight Tina called it a day. She didn’t want to go to bed late. And tomorrow she would go back to work.

    On her way home she thought about Bette. It occured to her that she didn’t have her phone number and Bette didn’t had hers. That was going to be one of the things she would have to settle fast. Should she go by Bette’s house? She didn’t know what to do. What if Bette wasn’t at home, she’d be disappointed.
    When she opened her frontdoor, she saw something laying on the floor……a note……it was from Bette!
    Hey gorgeous,

    I came by the grocery store and you weren’t there. Disappointment number 1. Then I walked to your house, thinking I’d see you there but you weren’t in. Disappointment number 2. I then concluded that I couldn’t call you because I don’t have your number, disappointment number 3. I really wanted to see you and apologize about the way the night ended yesterday. I’d rather say that face-to-face. I hope you’ll read this note and I hope I’ll see you tomorrow….maybe…….

    Tina read the note over and over again. What? She wondered why Bette was sorry for the way the night ended. Was it the kiss? Was she sorry for kissing her? Tina knew she wasn’t! What time was it……..It was 9.00 p.m.
    She couldn’t go to sleep without seeing Bette. Not now that she read that Bette had to go through three disappointments and she was the reason why. So without even taking off her jacket, she closed her door again and walked to Bette’s apartment.

    When Tina arrived, Bette just got home from the gym. She wasn’t able to talk to Shane because she was too busy. They made an appointment for tomorrow. She was just emptying her sportsbag when she heard her doorbell.
    While walking to the door, thinking it was Shane, she complained……..
