Well its funny you should say that because I also got the opportunity of a lifetime at work today too. Harvey Weinstein called me and asked me to head his new project. Bette I cant turn that down.

Bette and Tina looked at each other with forced smiles on their faces. Both women happy for the other but both knowing that a decision was going to have to be made that would drastically impact their situation. There was a moment of tense silence in the air.

Next monththey are working out some of the details and stuff but aside from a few last minute things hes ready to rollwhy? When is the opening?

Three months

Bette let out a sigh that Tina knew all too well. That sigh meant that Bette wasnt happy about the decision that was going to have to be made and Tina knew that Bette wasnt just going to give in so easily. But at the same time this was Tinas opportunity of a lifetime and she knew that if she passed this up she was giving up on her dream. From what Harvey had told her over dinner, Project Greenlight was exactly what she had been waiting for. She couldnt back out now. Bette and Tina eyed one another across the table and it was clear that this was not going to be easy. Bette took a sip of her wine before clearing her throat.

WellI guess we need to talk about this right?

Well do you want to come to New York with me this weekend?

I dont know Betteits just that”

Bette got up from the table with a huff and walked back to the bedroom. Tina watched Bette walk away with mixed feelings. On one hand she hated when Bette was mad at her like this, but on the other hand she was frustrated that Bette didnt even seem to care that she had just been handed her dream. She was tired of always giving in to Bettes choices and this time she just couldnt do it. With a heavy heart and a now pounding headache she cleared the dishes before heading off to the shower. She knew they needed to talk about this and she really didnt want to leave things like she did the last time she had to go away for a few months. One thing was for sure. This was going to be a decision that might seal the fate of their relationship forever. What the heck was Tina going to do???
