    No this actually has nothing to do with the grant application. Im sure your hospital will be well-taken care of by the Peabody Foundation, as usual.

    Yes, well the reason I am calling today is that I have a friend who is currently in the Casualty Ward of your hospital and I have been denied access to her.

    That would be superb, Elliot, I would very much appreciate you making that call. Her name is Christina Kennard.

    Bette said Tina weakly with a small smile, youre here.

    Of course Im here baby. I wouldnt be anywhere else, said Bette brushing Tinas hair away from her face, as Tinas hand, all bandaged up to secure an IV line, was ineffective in its efforts. How are you feeling? You look so much better than you did in the ambulance.

    You were there? questioned Tina trying to retrieve a non-existent memory of the ride to the hospital.

    Yes babe, said Bette looking searchingly into Tinas eyes. Dont talk now, you need to rest. They are going to move you to a real room soon. She paused. Do you want me to stay with you, asked Bette, her calm voice belying the inner struggle she was having with the next words, or would you like me to get Helena?

    Please stay, whispered Tina, closing her eyes again.

    Ms. Peabody, said a tall man with an athletic build coming towards Helena, Im terribly sorry to keep you waiting. Dr. Richard Sands, Chief Medical Officer, he said putting out his hand.

    Dr. Sands, purred Helena, delighted to meet you. May I say that your proposal for the new outpatient clinic was superb.

    Thank you very much, said the handsome doctor, but Elliot Baker told me why you are here today. I want you to know that your friend will have the very best care. I have arranged for her to be admitted into the private suite on the maternity floor.

    *****, whispered Alice to Shane, this chicks got the chair of the board of directors and the CMO lapping at her like love-sick puppies.
